I remember when people started talking about skating switch-stance in 1990: I was against it. I thought it was a passing fad, a gimmick. I remember thinking skateboarding was hard enough already & didn't see the value in developing ambidextrous skills. Boy was I wrong! Now I liken my view then to how some people thought the computer, email, the Internet, and smart phones weren't going to amount to anything either. Just like having at least basic computer skills are a necessity to doing business in 2016, so too I feel that at least having some basic switch skills are essential to skateboarding today. So here I am having some fun working on some switch stance skateboarding today.
