So, they were back to square one now, her and Kristoff. It hurt Faith a lot. She didn't open up to just anyone. She didn't let just anyone in and she had started to let him. She had started to let him in, to feel for him. Then assessment week came and everything went to shit.
She sighed as she sat on the couch, looking at the assortment of things she had on her coffee table for when Kristoff arrived.

My assessment is finally done...I wonder if I should call Ash and Kristoff and see how they're doing. They go to the mines tomorrow...I'm worried.
Kris has been short with me lately. He doesn't want to talk...I wonder if he's mad about Zeke...or is it something else?
Why did I let these two damn boys get so close to me? I'm going to get hurt again...I know it.
