SWFL September Home Sales
The latest SWFL September home sales for the week of September 19th showed there were 165 properties sold in Southwest Florida compared to 180 during the prior week.
Southern Fort Myers had the most transactions for the week with 122 property sales up significantly from 77 sales the previous week. Transactions were as follows: 40 percent vacant lots, 16 percent were condos and 43 percent were single family homes.
Bonita Springs remained in the second position with 72 real estate transactions for the week compared to the prior week when there were 59 home sales. Of the 72 real estate sales, 32 percent were condos, 44 percent were single family homes and 19 percent vacant lots. The remaining Bonita Springs transactions were a mobile home, multi-family unit and a coop.
Finally, Estero landed in third place with 50 property sales compared to the week of the 12th when there were 40 home sales. Real Estate sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 50 home sales, 10 percent were vacant lots, 32 percent were condos and 54 percent were single family homes. The other Estero transaction was two mobile homes.
In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week of September 19th, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 54 condos, 71 single family homes, 28 vacant lots, 8 mobile homes, 1commercial property and 1 coop.
