What I’m Playing Ep. 144: Murderlings

Murderlings is a game by Swofl. It looks beautiful. It’s about a bunch of birds trying to survive by eating humans and collaborating with wolves in the process. The mood and tone of the game is very impressive, and I love the colors of the sky.

Lasting [Swofl]

I didn't know quite what to make of Lasting. It's best described as a first person, heavily pixelated, claustrophobic, eerily atmospheric, repetitive nightmare. You navigate an endless series of rooms and corridors, collecting disks (which are sparse and sometimes not easy to spot) and avoiding terrifying, pixelated black creatures (even more sparse).

At the very least, this was intriguing and at times, utterly terrifying.

When you decide to end the game, you are scored on how many disks you collected and how many rooms that you visited.
