~sigh~ watching this anime is so satisfying
I only have 3 episodes left D=
I will be sure to treasure them
I may also rewatch the first 4 to understand what was going on again
I'm interested in the role of sex scenes in the work as a whole. Particularly why it's use was changed between arcs. Migiwa Kazuha's arc was at least 2 episodes, if I consider the first few a preface from which the other arcs stem. There the sex scene was left to the end, so that it came natural to them as the trusting couple they were characterized as. Amatsume Akira's arc was also 2 episodes but their sex scene happened early, as a point of bonding. I thought that it served to confirm Akira's impulsiveness and loneliness, but was it too soon considering the pattern the anime had set by providing a relationship when a sex scene? Perhaps the writers didn't want to be limited by the same form, or they were playing with the sex scene's position in a story. To confirm my theory, Yorihime Nao's arc another 2 episodes, had 3 sexual scenes spread throughout its duration.
I think the authors are playing with the positions of sex scenes, no pun intended.
