I haven’t gotten that far into naruto yet but what exactly was lee doing while kakashi and guy went on their trip with ten ten an mirai? I would have thought of all the characters to go with guy it would have been him? Just because well you know he loves guy so much I wouldn’t think he would want to be apart from him for very long.

Lee hadn’t joined Gai and Kakashi on their vacation/mission so Lee was still back in the Leaf Village, but to be fair, neither did Tenten. Tenten came out to meet them for a bit to deliver something that had been forgotten. The official crew for their trip was just Kakashi, Gai, and Mirai. After Tenten’s episode, she parted ways with the trio and also returned home to the Leaf Village.

If you’re looking for an episode of Boruto that explores Lee’s current bond with Gai, I’d recommend episode 70.

Which definitely shows that Gai is... I want to say grandpa, but more accurately, in the episode, Gai is a father figure to both Rock Lee and Metal Lee.

I would personally absolutely love to see all three of Gai, Lee, and Tenten together for a mission or something, the bond among the three of them is still strong as steel.

Okay I hc that my oc Atta and Gai don’t actually get along at first and actually fight a bit. I have no idea why they wouldn’t get along at first but I just thought it would be an interesting twist if they didn’t. I mean I did make her have an abrasive personality when she’s first introduced but Gai takes a bit to get riled up so idk what the fuck would happen to get them both to spar. Im so sorry you feel like ass!! I hope you feel better soon!!

I think Gai would try to get along with her just like he does with everybody else, but uuuurgh the frustration because she's not receptive! I can see them walking through the jungle, the tension between them could make the trees catch fire, and Lee is in the middle, looking at them with his puppy eyes.
