I have a travesty of a saber that my late grand farther brought with him from the UK to Australia after the war, was to lazy to keep cleaned so he had chromed. the leather wrap is beyond repair as it was left on when it was chromed the blade and guard all have proof marks and such but im struggling to even find what the model and make of the blade truly are. the family story is its a Scottish lancer cavalry sword if any one knows what this actually is please let me know
Okay random but possibly important question but does anyone know if you can actually throw a rapier?
I know that they do it a bunch of times in the Pirates of the Caribbean and I can’t help but wonder how possible/accurate it is to do that(also I think it would be a cool thing to put in a story but I REALLY don’t want to be inaccurate).
