Probably unpopular SAO opinion:
SPOILER FOR ALICIZATION WAR OF UNDERWORLD
Stop trying to force Alice and Kirito together.
Kirito is in a committed relationship with Asuna and is very publicly showy about it. And even if he wasn’t, Kirito knew that Eugeo liked Alice. Kirito was grateful and respected Alice as a swordsman and someone who took care of him in his Potato Mode. He never had any romantic feelings towards her. Alice knows that Kirito is in a relationship with Asuna, reinforced by Asuna staying behind with Kirito for 200 years and Kirito asking for Asuna to accompany them to back to Rath. Kirito literally wouldn’t have had the willpower to withstand those 200 years without Asuna.
Stop trying to force something that is never gonna happen. That’s part of the reason why I started to hate Alice in WofU. (Another part is when she was gonna force herself onto a potato!Kirito)
I hate it when characters try to force a romantic relationship where there can’t/shouldn’t be. This isn’t the first character I’ve noticed to this too. Another is Hook from OUaT with SwanFire.
A-1 Pictures please stop cutting out AsunaxKirito moments (like their kiss in the LN before the fight with Gabriel) to try and force Alice and Kirito. We don’t need to a harem. The best episodes are the ones that were focused on Asuna and Kirito’s relationship (Major parts of Aincrad, Beginning and ending of Fairy Dance Arc, Ordinal Scale and parts of Mother’s Rosario Arc) and Kirito’s friendship with Eugeo (Almost all of Alicization).
This is also the reason I actually started liking Liz, Silica, and Suguha because they stopped focusing on forcing them with Kirito. Liz gave up with she saw Asuna already in love with Kirito. Kirito only saw Silica as a little sister. Suguha is LITERALLY HIS SISTER, technically cousin but adopted sister.
