I’m wondering where the Diomedes/Odysseus/Penelope ship comes from? Don’t get me wrong, I love a good m/m/w ship and your art of it is super fun but I’m wondering ifs it’s something specific to the Epic fandom that I missed or if there’s stuff from the Odyssey it’s based on? Like are Odysseus and Diomedes really good friends in it?

Diomedes and Odysseus are a pretty notable duo in the iliad and have a fun dynamic throughout the trojan war haha. It's fun to put people together, especially since all three have been somewhat noticed by athena and also embody different aspects of her domain
