The puppy hadn’t realized where he had adventured off too. And to be fair, he didn’t mind that much at all. Scamp was just thrilled to be off the chain, out of a house that was just ‘rules, rules, rules’. In fact, he didn’t even notice that his collar had been cut by something and definitely didn’t know where it had been left. But he didn’t mind losing it all it was just a thing that prevented him from being a true dog. 

Wild and free. Even if his father tried to convince him otherwise. But what did he know, his dad was always a house dog who followed the rules.

Oh man, this is so great. He thought, while jumping into the dirt and rolling around in it. The young pup was definitely not planning on taking any bathes any time soon.

However, as Scamp enjoyed his freedom he was also not paying any attention to his own surroundings. Which was something he didn’t understand was a part of being ‘wild and free’, and the young Cocker Spaniel / Schnauzer mix didn’t notice anyone approaching him.

     “Lizzy, are you sure it’s all right to be at the manor right now? I’ve been busy with work, and I would not be able to entertain you for so long. Perhaps you should return for the time being.”

    Ciel didn’t truly mind her being in the manor but with all the meetings he was supposed to be having that week, it would be too difficult to manage Elizabeth & be sure she was enjoying herself. It was already enough with Soma storming in & out whenever he pleased & disrupting his work--yet he knew Elizabeth enough to leave him be if he really needed to finish his tasks.

    “I could arrange a carriage for you to return home, or are you truly fine being here regardless?”

Elizabeth fixed the skirt of her undergarments. "Auntie Rachel, could you fix the corset for me? It feels rather lose."

“Elizabeth, please be careful walking around like that.” She scolded her niece softly. “I’ll try my best.” Of course she hadn’t ever really had to do a corset all by herself, but surely she could do one by herself on someone else. Rachel gently takes the ties, tugging on them just enough to tighten it up enough that it wouldn’t be slipping off of her.

Rachel rubbed Elizabeth's back, trying to soothe her. Her eyes widened slightly at the little girl's words. "What happened?" She tried to think of who would have been around Elizabeth to make her so upset. She held her away to look her in the eyes. "Look at me, sweetie. Who yelled at you?... Was it Ciel?" If so, Rachel would make sure to discipline him. Her child shouldn't be yelling at anyone, especially his cousin.
