🔥 + the movies ( ooooh )

OK SO BUCKLE UP, because guess what???? in a lot of aspects the narnia movies are just so much more enjoyable than the books. i’m not even gonna lie here, i was introduced to the movies first, and then when i tried to read the books i was honestly super bored and just couldn’t really enjoy them. and i’m someone who loves to read. even trying to read them now when i’m older, i still have a tough time getting through them because there’s just this.... lack of detail and imagery??? in my opinion at least. a lot of the character’s personalities don’t exactly leap off the page, and some of it is just weird to picture.... like aslan walking around on his hind legs and shaking peoples’ hands. i would honestly have a very hard time taking that seriously oops.

although i hated the dawn treader film with a passion of a thousand suns, the first two movies explored these characters’ personalities and flaws quite wonderfully. peter’s anger and difficulty adjusting in the second film at being a man and high king back in the body of a boy and his struggles with pride and letting go??? amazing. susan in the first film clinging to logic and reason so desperately because her mother told her to be a “big girl” and adults are always supposed to be smart and reasonable??? fantastic.

now i’m not saying i hate the books. i do like them, i really do. i just happen to enjoy the movies a tiny bit more.

    eyebrow arched ( she’s glad she gets them plucked regularly or else she would look strange always giving the auradon children such looks ) . honestly , she has no idea where they get the energy . it seems everyone here is always smiling . . . hugging . . . the whole process gives her the creeps .  turning her attention back to her lunch table the girl snorts quietly - raising chocolate hues to meet the other across from her .   ‘ is this how lunch is everyday ? we barely spoke to each other on the isle , it’s going to give me a headache . ’ // @swordheir

♡ + Animals

As a princess and later a queen, Arianna has the ability to communicate with animals, and sees them more as friends than pets. When she goes out into the palace gardens, birds and small animals like squirrels flock to her. Her two favorite animal companions are her dachshund, Cesare, and her mare, Aldona.

                                       ❛   ARE  YOU  THE  ONE  UNLUCKY  ENOUGH  to  show  me  around  ?   ❜   hands  are  fumbling  slightly  as  she  shuffles  the  books  in  her  back  ,  the  sort  of  things  they  never  bothered  with  on  the  isle  .  she  looked  up  at  the  girl  with  disdain  ,  bright  eyes  staring  at  her  as  she  finishes  with  arranging  her  back  and  tosses  it  over  her  shoulder  .  she’d  be  ditching  it  in  her  room  later  ,  but  that  wasn’t  the  point  .   ❛   you  know  ,  i’d  hate  to  be  late  for  my  first  day  .   ❜    /    @swordheir
