Kazusanosuke never thought he and Kijinmaru as well as some of the others would be sent back to such a memorable time period. This was a time period that involved the Shinsengumi and they were Shinsengumi swords after all. Still, he couldn’t help but not like the whole ‘avoid your former master’ thing that tended to be followed. If Yamatonokami could get away with coming into contact with his former master, then why couldn’t he?
The arrival of the Retrograde Army pulled him out of his thoughts. Following the others of his squad, he began to fight them. Having a unit made up of strong swords made the battle end rather quickly.
After landing the final blow to the enemy before him, he slid to a stop. Despite stopping to catch his breath, something around the corner caught his attention and made him keep his guard up. However, he surely wasn’t expecting to see just who the figure was. His eyes widened upon seeing the sight of his former master before him.

It was an exceptionally hot day today, and it did not help that Cephy had to wear a kimono, walking around shopping for supplies at the small ramen shop she was working at. She was sweating a lot under it, to the point she wanted to just tear it off from her body. But given her current circumstances - stuck in Kyoto in 1863, that wasn’t really an option. She already stood out too much with her pink-purple dyed hair tied up in a ponytail, there was no reason to attract more attention by showing too much skin.
As she looked around the different food stalls, she accidentally bumped into someone. Cephy was about to look up and apologize, but the person in front of her was fast and snatched her wrist.
“Oi, watch where you’re going.” The two words strapped at his hip told her he was a... samurai? Or was it a ronin? Either way, the face expression he wore were none too nice, better get away quickly and avoid any conflict.
