Ghost Crew Feelings

(I just wanted to make something nice because we are all stressed for the finale)

Ezra– the sound and smell of an aluminum coca-cola can when you open it and the fizz bubbles up, the comforting buzz of a blue lightsaber waving through the halls of a dilapidated space ship, sitting in the desert and looking at the stars as old punk music plays out of a little metal radio, knowing there’s something out there for you and you are so lonely you are so lonely you are so lonely but the stars are so bright

Sabine– paint on your arms and your fingers and under your nails and on your school uniform and when your friend said she was going to punch that girl and she did, the smell of fire and smoke and fruity perfume, finally knowing the answers to the math test you studied so hard for, researching cryptids on the internet at three in the morning, that special place back behind the stage at your school’s theatre department, the taste of cherry lollipops and orange jelly candy and never knowing what will happen next

Zeb– speeding on a highway in a big van with your friends with the music on loud and hiking through treacherous rocks and you slip but you catch yourself just in time, that warm soft blanket you used in the wintertime, the smell of the ocean, reading comic books, that time when your friend asked what was wrong and you said you were just tired but you were lying, you were lying and every night when you fall asleep your head hurts, and the feeling of holding on to that person who makes you feel safe and never letting go

Hera– that feeling when the commercial airplane takes off into sky for your first flight, and you are so nervous but so exhilarated, the smell of laundry and mint tea, a hot shower, the sweet roses and tart raspberries growing in the backyard of your childhood home, you are having a dream and you are flying into the clouds and just as you start to fall into the darkness you wake up, you wake up and there is that feeling again like you forgot something and you can’t remember what

Kanan– the BANG and swelling in your chest when the music at the beginning of a Star Wars movie starts, never being satisfied by that teacher at school who never fully answers your questions, that lovely place between dreaming and being awake, and a waterfall over a rocky cliff and there are trees everywhere and an opening between mountains and a long time ago you think ships flew through here and you think you were there to see them but that’s impossible, and running faster and faster and faster because you just want to get away

I just had a terrible vision of ezra joining darth maul at the end of s2 and the very last shot being a close up of his face and he suddenly opens his eyes only for them to be glowing yellow

I’d like to offer my two cents on the new Rebels titles.

At first glance, it may see that all is lost, and Ahsoka is going to die. “Twilight of the Apprentice” is quite foreboding, I will give you that. But perhaps the “apprentice” is not Ahsoka, and perhaps “twilight” is not referring to death.

Remember the trailer. They would not have included Ezra interacting with Darth Maul “seeking knowledge” for no reason. It is all too obvious for Filoni to kill off Ahsoka and honestly it would be such lazy writing. Everyone sees it coming.

“Twilight of the Apprentice” could be referring to Ezra (for some terrible reason) putting his trust in Darth Maul and turning to the Dark Side of the Force. He already has an inclination to the Dark Side, that has been proven time and time again. It is not the /death/ of Anakin’s padawan, but the /fall/ of Kanan’s padawan.

Postponeing my rebels stuff

I was going to do stuff like screenshots of the newest episode and talk about it and have fun, but the power is out due to a car accident up the road. So, I'll do it tomorrow. I would do I now, but my phone is at 32%, it's the only phone not dead, and I have no wi-fi or cell service.
