So if fake fans hate Sonadow so much, how they feel about lesbian ships?
It depends.
If they are "extremely religious" or come from a certain "culture" or "country," they don't like those either. We had a "fan" come and implied to us that Arabic fans didn't like both male x male and female x female, so this is how we got some example of these groups of people. Also, some "fans" make their religon known and put it into their fanart for religous propaganda (from my personal experience, they mostly tend to be Amy fans).
Next, there are a few male "fans" who don't like it due to their own reasons, such as liking one of the female characters for themselves. This is why some "male fans" don't like Tangle x Whisper. If I recall, there was drama about a man who liked Whisper and was mean to those who shipped her with Tangle. Some men just want all the ladies to themselves or to at least belong to another man. (It's about CONTROL.)
Bias employees at SEGA HARDlight, "an official branch of the company," were also prejudice to this ship around a past Valentine's where they labeled them "concretely" (though they don't have a say) as "just friends" in celebration of Galentine's day, something that upset many fans at the time. Galentine's day is the day before Valentine's day where female friends have fun and appreciate each other. For some, this friend celebration comes before they celebrate Valentine's day with their "man." So, these bias employees basically implied: "Tangle and Whisper aren't romantically together and should be going with a man tomorrow."
Some time ago, they also deleted their post on X (but not on other SNS like Facebook) that claimed they supported LGBTQ+.
Not only is SEGA HARDlight bias for Amy/Sonamy, they are also prejudice towards anything that isn't male x female. This is also obviously shown in Sonic Dream Team, another game they created, where Dan Rossati, a man and employee of the branch, claimed that the female characters "pair up nicely" with the male characters. Sonic "pairs up nicely" with Shadow as someone who is EQUAL TO HIM, but instead of Shadow, they had Amy pair up with Sonic. (For example, Shadow is equal in speed to Sonic, not Amy, but just because she is a female, she is paired with Sonic due to this bias outlook.) (Amy is also biasly in the middle of the title image as well as when you pick a character in the game, as if she is the main/important character. Only later was Shadow added and was next to Sonic in the icon when he was included. When Shadow was added, he also was made to reach out towards Amy in a cutscene, giving her more focus. Amy is also in between Sonic and Shadow, separating them when selecting a character.)
The writer of the article also claims that SEGA HARDlight is home to a lot of Cream fans...if that's true, this just makes things more "creepy."
So, even if they showed some "Sonadow" content, don't be fooled. Not everyone in this branch agrees and from what I've seen, has some of the most bias and prejudice employees.
Back to the "fans," there are the male fans who do want female x female ships. But this time, they want ONLY WOMEN EVERYWHERE! No man in sight, only women. They want to erase every male character in this series and replace them with only women. ("HOT CHICK HEAVEN")
Last, there are those men who rather have female x female ships over male x male. They RATHER have that and TOLERATE it, but they ABSOLUTELY HATE male x male relationships. They want no business with male x male. They push females to go with men, both real and fictional. (CONTROL)
Usually, men who do like female x female are ones with anime backgrounds. But overall, these "bias" online men hate seeing men the most, their own kind, and often express how they "don't understand the appeal" of handsome men or male x male relationships when it's more like they don't want to understand because they are dead set on how they see their lustful preferences (they think EVERYONE only cares about looks like they do, not emotions, personality or anything of the like).
How often do Sonadow fans get bullied off the fandom? And do they get criticized of bullying others?
As the years have gone on with more Sonadow content being more prominent, the bullying off of the "fandom" has drastically decreased. In former years, it happened constantly. But now, it's less frequent and organized, but it still happens!
Before, (me and the former admin went through this too) the main thing these "bad fans" would do is try to mass harass in a small or large group the Sonadow fans, who often are on their own, off of the platform they are on or to silence/"pacify" or change them into "one of them." They'd pick out any mistake they do or insult/discredit the Sonadow content the Sonadow fan would create or talk about in a group attack, discouraging the fan from ever posting again. It also happens if you say something they don't like or don't want people to know.
One of the things I see happens the most if the Sonadow fans (mainly artists) aren't chased off is that they turn into Sonamy/Shadamy shippers fully or at least partially. It's really sad because a lot of this happened to the people who actually portrayed their relationship correctly and/or wholesome/heartfully. There could be many reasons such as wanting to fit in with people, getting influenced, or being "afraid" of what will happen to them if they don't. But, unless we hear their reason, we don't know why they decide to help those who harassed them.
Now, I'll talk about what happened in 2024 when Sonic x Shadow Generations was announced and how many "bad, "creepy," and/or ill online men" tried to make a huge hate campaign against it! When this happened, they tried really hard to insult the name, saying it was "weird, disgusting, and that it's a tactic by the "company" to hide "sonadow" art by making others see the game title/content instead (Sonic Prime had aired already showing Sonadow too, so it makes this statement ridiculous!), so that people will be scarred from seeing it, etc.. Some "popular" influencers in the Sonic community the employees work with even insulted it! The "bad fans" even tried to insult it by making it "a meme (a joke)" when it isn't even a meme! Many people had used "Character x Character" as shipping terms, so saying specifically Sonic x Shadow is a meme is utterly ridiculous and meant to discourage people from "taking it seriously." Even game journalists jumped on this "fake" narrative/drama insulting the two even more!

All these mainly "online bad "creepy" men" tried to put this title down due to it not being what they want, which is women and children to be "creepy" with. They hid their desires and what they do and projected it onto this title. When you look up ANY female character (or any female looking Pokémon even, for another example), just the female character, you get raunchy things too, not just this relationship. But here, they frame that this is the only relationship that gets this and would "scar people" as if their "raunchy" content of females doesn't!
Now, I'll talk about personal experiences from me and the former admin.
Back in 2021, when we first found out a really cool theory about Sonadow, the former admin posted a video about it and an X post. Somebody who lies, twists, and manipulates a lot of arguments for Sonamy/Amy, found it and sent a group of harassers to put the admin down. They tried to discredit everything the video said, mocked it, and insulted the admin. They even purposely left the admin's handle in the picture (while claiming that they didn't when confronted) so that others can go harass her to "silence" her, but it didn't work! My handle was also exposed and I was accused of being a sock puppet account when I was giving my support to the other admin. This bad Sonamy person wanted to stay hidden and didn't want anyone to know that it was them who sent everyone. Other things this person did was come up with the twisted argument that the rose in Sonic X is lavender when it's actually white (check Japanese flower meanings for white roses, it means silence, which is what happened in that scene. Sonic also mouths "don't cry" in Japanese). Many Sonamy fans for awhile spread this lie because of this person. This person also lied about translations and had Sonamy fans spread these lies about it too! They also indirectly discredited our page for stating the "biasness, unprofessionalism, and tactics" of the bias employees. This person even claims that they know a "big wig" inside the series/company!
When we made the first version of the wiki (which is now old and defunct), we got A LOT of people who harassed us for it. They hated how we pointed out the "truth" and how there were many "Sonadow" related moments and things! They wanted to control or stop us. There are still people from this group who lie about us and haven't taken down their posts, videos, or comments about us. They even went through the effort of lying and coercing to the Fandom staff to get our content taken down! So, if you see a post or video negatively talking about us, it's mainly from these guys! There's also a tumblr post about us on here claiming they are "embarrassed as a Sonadow fan" from us "pointing out the injustice."
I was personally mass harassed on X for pointing out the "truth" and how messed up it was that they joked about "murder." Many people came to harass me and found me through a Sonadow post in the Sonadow Community I made talking about how bias the Shipping Wiki was against Sonadow, but were lenient on Sonamy. This shows how they looked EVERYWHERE. Someone asked me what I was talking about and left me alone to be bullied (The harassers thought I was talking on my own when I was answering someone else who deleted their comment asking for more information! They apologized, but the damage had already been done.)
Last main thing is how most "Sonadow fans" seem to ostracize us. This includes how a group of them stole our hard work on the wiki and used it in a video without properly crediting us. That video is promoted on places many people look at like the Shipping Wiki and the website, Sonadowonline. We aren't promoted on any of these sites except by one commenter in the comments on the Shipping Wiki whom a harasser lied to about us. Another is some other fan plagiarizing our analyzations on the wiki and putting it on the Shipping Wiki without our consent. These "Sonadow fans" view Sonadow very differently from us and it seems they wish to promote "their version" rather than the real deal. This goes for people who we thought were nice as they talked to us, but over a sudden, turned on us for some reason. We often get comments like "Don't you know what they're saying about you?" But whenever we look around, we see nothing. We know the wiki harassers made a few things in popular public spaces, but other than them, we don't see anything. Yet these people claim that a whole bunch of people say bad things about us, as if they are afraid or are being blackmailed or something. They especially "demonize" the past admin without taking the time to know her or they rather believe the "bad fans" instead (the wiki harassers and a particular Sonamy group did this too). (If anyone has any information on what they are saying about us, like in Discord Chats, we'd appreciate if we can be shown it!) There seems to be no evidence of this so we feel like they may be just saying it to get us under their control or to "promote their ideals." Some of these "nice" fans also over a sudden, want nothing to do with us and tend to ghost us. Even when we ask or confront them, they never answer where some even indirectly call us "delusional, crazy," etc. and gaslight us into thinking that they didn't steal from us. We don't know why nor the reason why they refuse to even talk to us.
Other instances are like when a doxx on X happened where one of their main targets was the Sonadow tag, allegedly. Some big artists also got their Patreon/paid content stolen and put for free.
As for the second question, yes, some harassers try to also point out that "Sonadow fans" harass others too. This is true, but not to the same extent the "creepy" men did. They try to say they're the same as them when they aren't. Their type of bullying is more of "stealing work and claiming as their own," "staying in line while pushing out/ignoring others who don't," and "wanting their way of thinking of the relationship." There are those rare few who are like extreme mean Sonamy fans and do toxic, but it's rare. They tend to have more sense than them. And as the same as most other "shippers," they do tend to gloat about "winning," just like the Sonamy fans or any other ship.
As for those who do the bullying, when we were looking more in the past, they barely get called out in public. It's always in secret or venting on other spaces within their communities. When someone does point them out, they get mass harassed into silence. Nowadays, more people are standing up to them and pointing out their lies/bullying. We needed this a long time ago, now, it's a bit too late due to the damages already done to everyone and everything.

I saw that you have been through a lot with other fans who even share the same likes and I'm sorry to hear you go through all that 😓 I thought everyone was excited about Sonic and Shadow content together but I guess not? Maybe it seems easy to dismiss these things but I find that hard to believe when you see things like that SNS chosen picture and awards catered towards Amy so in your face! But there are fans who don't want to point it out so maybe they do know and are just being rude or mean people 😤 Nothing is fun unless it's done their way! There has been more Sonic and Shadow like you showed! Like the Christmas pictures and Lunar New Years! I like to think that means they spent the holidays together like the story you made! 🤭 They must spend every holiday together just like that!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I hope them showing up does mean that there are people who recognize how much we love to see them and together! It may not be much when SNS shows a different perspective but when it's the medias that count that have it that is when it really makes me squeal! I truly don't understand why they chose to make "enemies" with us rather than be friends.
I think quite a bit of people are aware online, but also wish to "ignore" it, no matter how blantant it is. For example, I wonder why "it's not a problem that she is being pushed everywhere," but when IDW characters are, "it is." As always, it's because of the fans who are "in CONTROL."
Looking at SNS really does give people a different perspective. For example, just now, Ben, VA for Movie Sonic, posted a picture of him hugging Movie Amy's VA on SNS. An article points out Amy as the one who has a crush on Sonic. These biasly push Amy and Sonamy, which the main Sonic account (America) brought attention to on their several accounts. Already, they immediately shoved and told everybody who her voice is when Shadow's voice was kept a secret for a very long time until almost when the movie was to be advertised. This looks highly unprofessional of Ben. Why would you talk about something that is supposed to be a "surprise" or NDA? (unless it isn't NDA, but now the surprise is ruined way ahead of the movie that is supposed to be next year!) This picture is everywhere. And things promoting this only mentions Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy...but not Shadow, even though he was seen alive in the previous movie. Furthermore, there are "bias" fans who cruelly say that Shadow better not be in this movie and don't want him around at all. They say this to those who asked where Shadow's mention was. (See the previous link and this post's comments) This shows how much these bias employees and "fans" CONTROL the SNS world, all just to push Sonamy and Amy and KICK SHADOW OUT. Even some bias employees who work on the movie emphasized in the Christmas short that Shadow isn't part of the family by showing a portrait of who is in the family. Pair this with the SNS Movie account commenting all the color hearts except Shadow under the Ben post, it shows others where they biasly stand. But of people on the outside, they probably won't see all this. They will only see ads or the actual movie when it drops. This is only a temporary "win" for these horrible bias employees who so desperately want things to go their way. They don't care about anything else.

This is more of an example of how bias the fans on this specific wiki site can get. I saw this before a while back too, but I didn't read it either at the time. Now I have gone and read it through and completely disregard what this fan has said for it is filled with "lies," manipulation, and "misinformation." So, you are correct in saying they "lied" (but it's more complicated than just lying). I also understand your frustration.
So, the whole reason this fan put Sonadow down, especially in Sonic Prime, is because they personally don't like it. They lied or is "misinformed" about game Sonic not liking Shadow when he actually does (SA2, Sonic x Shadow 2021 Calendar story). He is either "misinformed" or lying when he said they were "like brothers" in this show (twice in Sonic Prime were they denied as brothers. BOTH SONIC AND SHADOW STATED THAT THEY ARE NOT BROTHERS IN THIS VERY SHOW) Saying they were "treating each other like brothers" was a tactic of theirs at the time to downplay what Sonic said to Shadow. This fan also showed he didn't like male x male relationships by saying why would someone with a childish heart, date a man. He said that Prime Sonic is "nice to everyone" which is why he hugged and confessed his feelings towards Shadow while manipulating the context which is the reason why he treated Shadow with such care is not only does he love him, but also he knew that Shadow WAS HIS SHADOW and not a "shattered version" of himself, which this fan "omitted and manipulated." In all it's gobbledygook to try to say there isn't Sonadow when there is! (There's more I can say, but I'll leave it at that).
Sadly, I don't think there is a way to delete these types of discussion posts on that site unless you appeal to an admin on that site. There are "rules" these admins established so if the post doesn't violate any rules, sadly it remains. This is this fan's "opinion" so it probably will remain, even if it's lying to put down a relationship. This is where it is "manipulative" because this fan isn't being shown outright obvious "hating the relationship," so he "gets away with it." The comments are closed, so people can't come in and correct this post now either. The only other thing people can do is make discussion posts telling the "truth" (warning, though, those fans on that site can get nasty! They were the ones who tried to tear down and harass us on the Sonadow Wiki, after all!)
The bias I was talking about is more on informational articles about Sonic media LIKE SONIC PRIME where when I last checked, their detailed summary for the show was bias against Sonadow. The fans who contributed made sure to omit talking about the Sonadow parts or downplay it to make it seem less heartfelt. Now for these, if the article page isn't locked, people can come in and correct these pages with an account (that's how they can get "deleted"), however, there will be many other bias fans, even admins, who will change it to however they want it to be. This is why this site is bias and not reliable for some information since it's done by fans, especially also bias fans.
As an extra, this post actually appears in some search engines when "is Sonadow canon in Sonic Prime" is typed in. Many people are exposed to this specific "manipulative" post due to the wording. My suggestion is for others, in order to remedy this, is to make content with this specific wording and "tell the truth" so that this post gets overwritten. That way, at least in some search engines, it will get "erased" or "pushed out."
You made your own sonadow wiki apart from the shipping wiki site because of how admins bias and they refused to believe what actual proofs you have?
Yes. It took a very long time to put "friends" status for Sonic and Shadow. They also were in line with "fans" who wanted to CONTROL. I mentioned that the controlling "fans" erased "that Sonadow fans are bullied on purpose" in the fandom community section right before the first episode of Prime dropped. So, they knew that Sonadow fans would be looking on this page and erased this so that they wouldn't know. The past Sonadow Wiki admin fought for it to remain, but the Shipping Wiki admin ended up siding with the controlling "fans." They were also more bias towards Sonamy, allowing outdated evidence for "mutual feelings" to be used (and twisted) rather than newer ones.
Here's my posts on X detailing how they're bias, unfairly ban people, abuse their power etc. I also talk about how the Sonic Wiki was unfair too. There's a lot in these posts and it's really long (with two updates to the situation) and it's old. So, I don't remember everything that's happened. I learned more about other things in the community since then as well.
So, this is why I would appreciate if people don't put our Sonadow Wiki information on the Shipping Wiki page.
Thoughts on the way Toonsite portrays Sonic, Shadow, and Amy? Even of them, shipping SonAmy/ShadAmy? I'm sorry but I don't like the, way Sonic and Shadow are handled in their art. I shouldn't make a big deal out of this, but I gotta get this out of my chest. I also don't like how Amy is such a Mary, Sue/self-insert in them too. I should mind my own, business but I wondered if anyone felt what I felt. I'm not trying to get, this person harassed or cancelled. I don't want, to start drama.
For me, anon, I do have business with that person that I never got justice for. This person is one of the "content creators" who helped get me mass harassed on X. She used her influence to get more people to come and mock me.
Below is only a section of my long thread of a theory/analyzation I was figuring out, but that's not all that was in this thread of mine. I also expressed that I didn't like the Murder game due to how "disturbing" it was to show "murdering" someone and what these bias employees were doing at the time (being bias for Amy). The "bad fans" on X didn't like how I was pointing out that the Shipping Wiki was bias against Sonadow, but not against Sonamy on another post and so they came to find a post of mine to mass harass me on, which was this thread. (I had a Sonadow icon at the time so these "bad fans" knew I supported Sonadow).
So, take this in account and remember the type of content she makes.
Sometimes, not only Toonsite, Amy fanartists have a certain type of venom in their art that is based off of "lies." I'll name some from other fanartists I've seen besides Toonsite. One was Sonic and Shadow racing next to each other in their cars while Amy drives up and uses an item on Shadow to push him away, therefore letting her take his place. This has venom because underneath, it shows that this Sonamy artist finds Shadow in the way and wants him GONE and REPLACED BY AMY. The next one is Amy stealing Shadow's motorcycle as Sonic is on the motorcycle with her. In the back, Shadow is angry trying to go after them. This has venom because it shows that this fanartist wants Amy TO STEAL EVERYTHING AWAY FROM SHADOW. Toonsite is no different in her various medias that show Sonic and Shadow hating and hurting each other, but being "sweet" to Amy. She doesn't want to support how these characters really are, which is "lying" to a high degree. These venomous art are MADE TO HURT OTHERS, THE INTENTION IS TO HURT OTHER PEOPLE SO THAT THE FANARTIST CAN "FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES AND "OBTAIN A SHALLOW WIN."" I also mentioned before that one of these Amy fanartists' tactics is to spread certain ideas and propaganda to keep CONTROL over the community. She could be one of them, but even if she isn't, she is hurting other people with "lies."
There is a difference in respectfully telling someone to stop "hurting others" and just insulting someone. When children are bad, parents reprimand them to teach them to be "good," not condone their "bratty behavior." Personally, I have something I can say since I was specifically wronged.
Many other fans told us the same thing, anon, that they don't like how she does this. If so many fans think this way, then there is something wrong, which I've just explained.
Another damaging thing she does is spread the "wrong interpretation." The reason why I say this is due to the nature of how her artstyle looks. People actually think that her fan made content is "real/official," when it isn't. That's why what she's doing is especially damaging. People are free to make content, we can't "stop" that, but that doesn't mean that their malicious intentions are morally good.
It's a shame that what's the most important to these "Amy fanartists" is to "steal," "lie," hurt, and "win."
Anon, I think you solved a reason why female fans support Amy! It's because they see her as a self-insert, a self centered insert who wants the whole world to revolve around them. No wonder they don't mind that SHE'S EVERYWHERE and in ALMOST EVERYTHING, so they DON'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE BIAS EMPLOYEES PUTTING AMY EVERYWHERE. And if anybody talks about Amy in negative light, it's no wonder why they're offended. "They don't want to be seen as a bad person."
Also, I think she might already go through drama since a lot of fans don't like her. To me, she is a bully. I feel like I'll never get justice for what she and many "bad fans" on X did to me. But her and all those other "bad fans" have "fans" to "protect" them, not me.
Overall, I feel hurt by that person and I don't like how she portrays anything. I wish she'd become a better person.
I saw in one of the posts on this blog how you guys explain how the lines in Sonic Frontiers where Sonic talks about sharing an umbrella with Amy and things like that are actually cut content that isn't in the final version of the game. But someone on Twitter recently told me that he heard those lines while playing. He was trying to defend Sonamy in our discussion, by the way… but it seems strange to me because in all the time I played the game, I didn't hear those lines either. Ian Flynn said he doesn't know about the existence of those dialogues, so are those dialogues in the final version of the game or not?
No, anon, they are not in the final version of the game on any system.
I understand how frustrating it can be dealing with people, especially "creepy" lustful men, when they lie. This man has no other reason to staunchly defend Sonamy. This man, like a lot of "creepy" lustful "fans" are gaslighting others into believing that other people, not them, are the liars. You saw with your own eyes, anon, that they aren't in the game. You read the evidence that they aren't in the game! Have more faith in yourself and what you believe, anon. People like this won't change their opinion, no matter what you say to them because they want the CONTROL over others and their thoughts that badly.
As stated in that evidence post, the lines are cut lines modded in. From when I last looked, ONLY ABOUT ONE YOUTUBE CHANNEL has that modded into their game in which they passed it as "real." THEY LIED. This often happens in which bias employees and "fans" bribe or convince other influencers, fans, or non related people to lie and promote what they want. (Another example is how "fans" try to copy the IDW art style as close as possible to lie that Sonamy moments/comics are "official" when it was fanmade). If other people encountered it so much, why don't we see more videos of it? The past admin also played through the game and did not encounter it.
I'd ask this guy or any other "fan" who claims they are real for proof and call him out on his lie. If the area and weather isn't matching the trigger, then it is fake, but even then, it would be "fake" because it was cut. Nowadays, it's best to see for yourself thanks to the lengths these "bad" fans go through.
It has come to my attention that there are fan(s) who are once again, plagiarizing analyzation(s) that are on the SonadowWiki(s). This time, it's reposting with slight variation on the Shipping Wiki Sonadow Page. These analyzations were thought and wrote out with hard work from me and the previous admin. Permission wasn't asked from me for this to be posted on there either nor were we credited. Analyzations are different from actual Game summaries and moments which usually contain no insightful additional thought. A similar instance has happened to us before, so I ask politely once again for the plagiarizing to stop. It's against the rules of Fandom, the place the Shipping Wiki and old Sonadow Wiki is on, to do this.
