Clarion Introduces Its 2012 Car Audio Source Unit Lineup

Clarion launches all-new audio source units that place focus on wireless connectivity and digital media playback now more than ever. Clarion introduces five all-new in-dash car audio source units in their 2012 line-up all packed with the hottest and most demanded features, while keeping pricing affordable.

Most of Clarion’s new 2012 source units offer the most sought after features such as compatibility with SiriusXM satellite radio and Pandora® internet radio. Alpine Introduces New Models With SiriusXM Connectivity

Alpine provides SiriusXM satellite radio connectivity through its industry-leading in-dash receivers. The company offers four new head unit receiver models which will be compatible with the SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner and the new SXV200 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner, which will be available during the second quarter of 2012. The units will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Jan. 10-13 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

”Last year, Alpine launched the first receiver compatible with the SXV100 SiriusXM tuner and it was a great success for us,” said Steve Crawford, vice president and general manager, aftermarket business unit, Alpine “We are further leveraging this success by expanding the number of SiriusXM Connect compatible models in 2012.”

Alpine’s new SiriusXM compatible models include the INE-Z928HD, the largest aftermarket AVN system with an 8-inch screen. Two other screen-based systems and a single-DIN CD receiver round out Alpine’s SiriusXM compatible lineup…

Alpine Electronics Ships First Head Units Compatible With The New SXV100 SiriusXM Tuner

Alpine announced that it is shipping its new 1-DIN CD receivers which are compatible with SiriusXM’s newest in-vehicle satellite radio tuner. The CDE-124SXM and CDE-123 CD receivers are the first aftermarket head units that work with the new SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit and the first products to feature the new SiriusXM-Ready logo.

The SXV100 receives SiriusXM programming on the XM network (XM subscription required) and provides integrated programming control in a compact package, without the need for additional translators or cables. The SXV100 consists of the satellite radio tuner and magnetic rooftop antenna. It can access over 180 channels of commercial-free music, and premier sports, news, talk and entertainment. The SXV100 has advanced features which allow for a customizable satellite radio experience. These features, which are controlled through the Alpine receiver, include:

Alpine has combined integrated navigation features, comprehensive media playback options, hands-free calling, and Alpine’s renowned sound quality – into one easy-to-use unit. The INA-W910 audio/video/navigation (AVN) system is loaded with today’s highly desired digital sources for entertainment and information. The INA-W910 is ideal for system building and can serve as the base for any size system.

The INA-W910 is a 2-DIN system with a 7-inch WVGA motorized display. Besides being an AM/FM/CD/DVD receiver, it offers the best in digital audio sources. HD Radio® comes built into the INA-W910, a first for an Alpine 2-DIN system. HD Radio’s static-free, all-digital broadcasts can be enjoyed via the INA-W910 without any subscription fees.
