There is a corollary to the chess puzzle that's "the best move is to sacrifice the queen" and thats when there is an option to take the enemy queen. "Thats not the move" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN I GET TO KILL LADY MACBETH WITH THAT MOVE" (looks, there is an available checkmate) "ah. That is not the Move"

I love how humbling stockfish analyses are as a beginner. Its like "oh I think that went pretty well :) " and then its like "actually you almost died. Badly". And sometimes its many times in succession!!

Today's how to lose at chess was how to win at chess....by accident lol. I kid you not I was just pushing that pawn to see what would happen, I did not know that was mate.

A fork I completely beefed up

a second fork I failed to see which would have won me the bishop (lol) but probably would have missed me checkmate so it's fine I guess
