More Sylvanian Families designs; the actual notes I have for these guys got a little long, so sorry for that but feel free to colour these in if you want; I’d love to see what ideas y’all have!! Also feel fee to ask about any of the clothes!!
The Hippo family, own a dance studio and also work on preserving historical or culturally significant performing arts memorabilia, such as dance forms, scripts, costumes and other things. They’ve gained quite the reputation around the town and even out in the country for happily taking on restoration projects for free as long as the townsfolk benefit from them
The frog family, specifically a poison dart frog family, work one of the restaurant/cafes; an immersive experience that doubles as an educational and conservation resource, the Frog family are all explorers bringing back rare and new plant species for the other Sylvanians to see firsthand. They grow them in glasshouses connected to the restaurant/cafe and in the cooler months there are options to eat surrounded by the plants.
The Turtle family, part of the Wild West series I’ve thought of (there will be buildings and play sets with this one) They work in administration and accounting, while most people joke they’re a slow moving family they’re just deliberate and think out every decision before making it. There’s nobody better in any town to handle the finances and they also keep up with the census and other record keeping.
The Crow Family owns a large estate on one side of the town; while they often keep to themselves they love hosting lavish dinner parties and run the main farmer’s market in town. They live halfway between the bigger city and the smaller towns and will go between, bringing back new creations or styles from the city. They’re trying to bring more greenspace areas into the city and work with the government there to plant more trees and flowers.
The Weasel Family, they work in theatre, (yes this is based on this video) mainly in set and construction, they also do some restoration and conservation along with the hippos and frog families; but prefer to stay working behind the scenes, although one of their kids longs to be the lead in the play they’re putting on this year, they’re still a little too young.
Lop Eared Rabbit family (based on the joke of ‘snow bunnies’) they run a ski and winter hotel/cabin; they also work in Architecture Design and construction in the other seasons. In the non winter season they spend most of their time in the city, working on the new buildings and the transportation infrastructure with the swans.
The Parakeet/Budgie Family work with the theatre department in the towns and big city; they’re all part of the local choir and prefer to spend their time in the big city where they get the most recognition and praise. They’re slightly vain but always willing to put on free concerts and outdoor events wherever they can.
The Swan family work in the big city, in infrastructure development; they’re the family that worked on and built the tram system that helps everyone get around. Clothing wise they also have the scarf/bonnet that the other birds do, the capelet has a more ‘masculine’ design which is just no lace, maybe less patterns; it would come in both pastels and more neutrals with and without lace for a variety of looks, which was similar to the geese in the aristocats
The Robin Family work on a large farm specifically a brambles/berry farm; they sell a wide range of jams, preserves and honey at both the local markets and shops, as well as bulk orders in the big city. They occasionally take up guest spots in the choir.
