Their path is a lonesome one, by their choice, but with each mystery slain they come ever closer to the light. Sign 12 of 22 in a series of signs based around job classes from Final Fantasy III, this sign based on the Dark Knight class. The Famicom version of the job (which these signs are largely based on) possessed healing magic, and their primary purpose in-game is to use specialized blades to negate the ability of some enemies to self-replicate. As such, the central feature of this sign is a cross (shorthand in these signs for "healing ability") tilted to resemble an "X" (for negation), with one arm stretched further than the others (to more closely resemble a sword).
