someone tried to shoot daphne at the movies bc she was talking to much and Nathan pushes out of the way seems more plausible.
Only a few hours had passed since he had woken up and he wanted nothing more than to leave. Nathan wasn't a fan of hospitals and he hadn't expected to end up in one the night before when he and Daphne had decided to finally go watch the new Ninja Turtles movie. Actually, it had taken about an entire week before he could convince her to go see it, she preferred the Power Rangers and let the feud she had with Brad get in the way of her wanting to step foot in a theatre to watch anything until TNMT was no longer being played. It was ridiculous, just like the reason for him being in the hospital now. He'd been staring at the sleeping girl for at least ten minutes waiting for her to wake up. A nurse had told him that she had refused to leave the room all night. He tried to move hoping to reach for something to throw at the girl to wake her up but the sharp stinging in his right shoulder made that impossible. Instead he called her name. "Daph.." he said the first time calmly, then louder the second time. "Daphne!" He shook his head at her the second her eyes finally shot open. "How many times did I tell you to shut up and just watch the movie?" he asked but expected no answer. He knew her well enough to know she was probably feeling guilty and even a bit sorry for what her loud mouth had gotten them into. "It's gonna be nothing but Netflix and RedBox from now on."
