"Singing Together"

I am SOOO happy to finally finish this!! With all the fanart I'd been making for Art Fight, I felt inspired to do something with Melody again! Only this time, as I started drawing, I felt the urge to draw her with one of my ocs, Verdana ^^

I actually feel like Melody and Verdana would get along really well, they'd also be able to relate to each other on a deeper level having both lost someone they loved due to a form of corruption/infection.

Fun mini fact; Verdana does love to sing, she's just a bit shy when it comes to singing around other people, I can just imagine one day maybe the two of them are sharing music with each other and that one particular song comes on, and Verdana can't help but sing to it with Melody chiming in for fun ^^

Not too sure what they would be singing though? Verdana enjoys a very specific mix between rock and J or K-Pop and idk what Melody likes lol I'm sure they'd find some form of compromise

Btw, if your twin skeleton babies were to be another species what will they be?

Sirens, definitely.

Melody would be a sweet little mermaid always singing for everyone, not dangerous at all.

Rhythm on the other hand would be the one luring you to your death but only for a valid reason.

Their adult personalities are very similar to Thor and Loki, one heroic and helpful the other mischievous and “evil”. Think of them kind of like that.

I wish I found these two sooner! I always seem to be late when it comes to finding cool things ^^'

Small Problem

Mini comic of Rhythms pranks back before he made the deal with Nightmare. He is very good at code edits for himself and his sister so sometimes he teases her by changing her appearance at random sometimes. She’s been changed to a human, a kitten, a bitty, a naga, a mermaid, as well as others. I’ll let you imagine the other situations~ 💕

Year 87 (The Change)

In a broken timeline that was shattered to pieces from a failed experiment, a lone scientist sat in the void of what was once his home. The fragments of code were the only things holding him and his world together.

Year after year passed with no hope of rebuilding or escaping the void. After learning how to alter the code he found a connection, a link between his dimension and others but no matter how hard he tried his own code would not let him leave.

After countless of failed attempts to escape he decided to try and reconstruct what he could to cope with the deafening loneliness of the void. He could not create anything new, he could only work with what existed which was only himself. He created two copies successfully but they were only empty husks. No emotion. No movement. Nothing.

He dug through the code to find a solution to bring these beings to life without using his already weak soul as a base. The only thing left in the core code of the world that had emotion to it was the music. He used that to fill the souls of the two beings, hoping it would be enough.

With the music filling their soul the beings came to life. The scientist was no longer alone and because the core of their souls was music, they developed the love of singing. Only able to sing and talk with simple sounds, it was beautiful but not enough for the scientist. They were still incomplete.

He adjusted the core code of each being and after trial and error he found a way to edit their entire being. He gave one a masculine figure and voice. He named this one Rhythm. The other, he gave a feminine look and voice. He named this one Melody. The beings soon became a family to the scientist and his loneliness dissipated. At least for the time being...
