-be careful when you tell me

that you’d like to be

committed to me, because you must

remember that you have lied

so much, so terribly, remember

that you have broken promises and chose

to neglect and act impatient

when I needed you most

so much pain

and you weren’t there for it because

you did not know how to handle it

..but I thought you said

you wanted to commit

to me
