ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW.
Once known as the CAZADORE CLUB with Elizabeta Del Regis as acting 'manager' the organization is now named the Rourke Syndicate, led by yours truly! In order to obtain the throne, Rome killed Elizabeta after wiggling into the right-hand seat & turned the incoming wave of confusion & anger---towards the competition, solidifying his title as KING.
STYLE & APPEARANCES.
Composed of both women & men that follow a rather strict dress code, the syndicate is huge on dressing fully. Appearance is sleek with a matching demeanor, pride-soaked suits & all-knowing dresses. They're allowed free reign so long as the statement they make is one of wealth, much like Rourke himself. Jewelry is a quick indicator; higher rank comes with a chunky ring --- much like a class ring, it has the wearer’s name engraved in black-toned stainless steel.
Younger bodies take up the lower rankings --- Rourke believes most experience comes from age but seeing as he DOES NOT overlook initiation, there are a few some rather young syndicate members packing drugs in his warehouses. ( no one under eighteen though. they’ve got some sorta’ standard.. )
RANKINGS.
Top-dog is a permanent title made for Roman. He is king and his word is law with these mean cats. He holds a tight spot for his right hand, smart considering what he’s done but Rourke is known to ask advice out of him. ( he keeps a tight ear to his enforcers. ) They’re given a lot more slack in making their own decisions — but said choices must be made for their specific avenue; drugs, extortion, etc. As of now, there are three enforcers, each loyal to their kingpin.
Under that rank are the operators, the bodies to get the job done. They’re mostly unimportant to anyone but the enforcers, as they get to carry out the orders given by them.
Other titles, not entirely included in the chain of rank, exist and are utilized by Rourke as he deems necessary. He has the cleaners which is pretty self-explanatory — they clean up after the syndicate & ensure nothing can be traced back to them. They are absolutely on speed-dial. The white rabbits are a band of rowdy misfits that will serve as scapegoats should Rome ever call on them. They provide distractions to avert widened eyes away from Rourke’s business.
AVENUES & POCKETMICE.
Though there are many different-sized branches to the syndicate, numerous hobbies & different personalities, they remain extremely proficient in what they deal with.Smuggling includes weaponry, drugs and on the rare occasion, stolen items. More Illegal substances are hidden & carefully wrapped, then transported in a multitude of ways; dealers, vehicles and sometimes even planes. Extortion is a cement pillar in the foundation of the syndicate and property protection is definitely a strength. Some businesses even allow shadier operations to take place in the back rooms — which is not only more money for the king but a good chance for the crew to blow off steam.
Contract killing is a more risky procedure and usually calls for the involvement of the cleaners or/and white rabbits. It can also be a personal contact; along the lines of removing certain pieces from the board — say, a pesky lawyer.. or a noisy neighbor.
Pocketmice, as Rourke likes to put it, are the officials eating from his hands. They allow him more room to do as he pleases & he keeps their wallets fat. Pocketmice also open up more options for the kingpin; usually, he can bribe his way outta’ trouble for someone. They’re everywhere --- from the small meth labs situated in a trailer park to the high ranking official in Washington. Romeo would NOT be where he is without all of this structure.
