Grand Prize - Closed RP @ synchron-duelist

Aku tapped her fingers on the desk. She, for some odd reason, didn't even know why she was called to the mechanical department. All she knew was that she was called to help. She couldn't stay for long, though. Yamaha launched a contest about who knew the most about engineering and physics for a $50,000 prize and the winner was coming today. But they had no intention of letting her go so she was rather stuck.

She walked quietly through the area sighing softly. She was lonely. Very lonely. Quite a bit had happened to her recently and her normally cheerful demeanor had changed into a quietly sulking depressive one. She wanted someone to talk to but didn't know who to seek out.

The blonde was sorting out playbills, helping one of the staff members get organize at the front of the lobby until she heard one of the doors opening. She looked up and saw a young man walking, holding a helmet. It wasn't common to have people come in the theater during the day, but since it started raining earlier and by the looks of the man having a helmet (assuming he was a motorbiker), Merina can assume he needed to take shelter until the storm had passed.

She gave a wave to the guest, "Hello there! Welcome to Domino City Performing Arts Theater. Anything I can help you with, sire?"

How would an abridged version of Haou would be like if Judai/Jaden was replaced by Haou in the BBT Abridge? Do any of the scene as your own idea for an Abridged/Crack!Haou.

Lots of bucket head jokes, getting stuck in the passageways because of the armor, the tendrils things pocking everybody's eyes...Hmmm....

"Let’s rev it up!"

The duelist activate his duel disk, ready to engage in a duel against the idol. But it didn’t matter to the duelist who went first. It seem she want to go first. So with that the mechanic allow her to make her first move. Already five cards in hand with an additional card from her drawing phase. Not only that but already in her first turn she summoned out a giant plant monster, Gigaplant. Was her deck similar to Aki the duelist wonder. He had experience going against a plant type deck since he duel Aki.

"Alright, my turn then. Draw!" 34 cards in deck, 6 in hand.

The duelist look through his hand. There were various of combination he could do. What should he do first? Should he go on the offensive and destroy that Gigaplant? Or should he go on the defensive and wait for a few cards to bring out his signature monster?

"I’ll set a monster face-down in defense. I’ll end my turn with two face-down." 3 cards in hand.

Good thing that I kept up on my studies in regards of dueling. This is going to be lots of fun. Hopefully you like this post. ;3

"I draw." Mitsuki took out another card, adding it to her hand. She stared at her hand. Then at the field. In regards of his face-down and of his two potential Spell or Trap cards, she knew that she had to be careful. Anything could trigger those... And her face-downs. Those were her life-line, in case anything truly insane happened...

33 cards in deck, so very little in her hand... She summoned Lonefire, so that was one card. Then she had to set down two... and, before adding her new card, she had Violet Witch and Rose Fairy... This latest card would do her no good, currently. It was Trade-In, a card that she would consider very valuable, if she had the right hand, that is...

"I summon Violet Witch in attack mode." Mitsuki said, as her monster appeared on the field. "And then I attack your facedown monster with my Violet Witch! And then Gigaplant will attack afterwards..."

As her first monster, was attacking, her heart was pounding in her chest. She knew it was a bit irrational to not use Gigaplant's effect... but it was even more stupid to use it when there was a potential of him blocking her off from performing her move. So she was a bit obsessive when it came to those particularly small details. It was like going out swimming for the first time. One doesn't brashly dive in, it was those smaller steps that were key. Deliberately testing his set-up, just like he would probably test hers...

If she wasn't careful, she could lose everything all in one stroke.

The Idol & The Mechanic

The turbo duelist listen to her pain it must be sad and painful what she’s going through. Her friends? They’re not even consider friends if they’re going to do something hurtful to another friend. They seem to be more of an acquaintance instead of friends at all. But the mechanic was a different story. Whoever was lonely and in need of a friend, the turbo duelist will always accept them as one. So he reach his right hand out, giving her a hand to get up from the ground.

"Of course. No one deserve to be alone and hurt by those who they call friends. They’re probably aren’t even your friends in the first place."

Even if little the turbo duelist know about Mitsuki, it doesn’t mean she’s going to be trouble and can’t be friend with. Yusei was a trustworthy person to befriend with. He’ll be friend with almost anyone. He’ll be happy to make more friends as well. So it wasn’t a problem at for the both of them to be friend. It’ll take more than whatever reason to separate the mechanic away from his beloved friend.

"Thank you..." 

Words tumbled out of her lips, as she was clasping his hand, grasping the warmth that was there. Pulling out her deck, which she kept in its own waterproof case, she shown the Plant deck that she had collected. Why was she being so shy around him? "Um... Yusei... Would you like to duel with me?" she asked, as she was noticing that he had some decks as well. "I'd really like to try this out... I want to see if I can also duel besides being an idol so... i-is that okay?" Goddamn it. She needed to stop stammering too. 

Interest in dueling had always been what she wanted to do. But she never had anyone to play with. She wanted to try something new. Mitsuki had a little bit of an idea how the rules worked. She just wanted to make sure that she was doing it correctly. After all, she knew that Duel Monsters were a popular thing. And if she could play it... maybe it would change some of the bad luck that she was getting when it came to friends.

Mitsuki Shirohane had been used to being an idol, a pop idol at that. She had her own D-Wheel. She had the world handed to her on a silver platter. But what she wanted, what she desired the most... was friends. It was an absolute nightmare to not have enough friends. Because most who did become her friends were only afraid her fame and fortune. 

So when she finished her first modeling job in a while, she was out on the streets all alone, getting soaked by the rain. She wasn't really interested in getting an umbrella. Nor did she want any pity. She was lonely. Mitsuki had desired for friends... but never gotten any. 

"When... when will my wish come true...?" Mitsuki asked, as her orange hair was soaked in the rain and her golden eyes were cloudy and strife with depression.

✮ - sleeping habits

Haou actually hates sleeping

It’s because Usually is almost like when he was slumbering before awakening for the first time: only disjointed negative feelings, some sensations and a complete loss of sense of time and space. This really displeases him and make him very uncomfortable most of the time.

✿ - laugh

Rarely letting his feelings to be known except when really comfortable around somebody, Haou rarely laughs. He can count on his fingers the time he actually had a laugh - an honest, joyful laughter.

Otherwise, he usually only smirks or gives short, low chuckles

⌨ - time-wasting habits

The dark king enjoys walking around, specially trekking. The nature soothes him somehow. The wind against the trees, the sound of the water on the rivers and the wildlife are calming.

But when unable to go out, Haou enjoys reviewing his deck and thinking of new strategies

❅ - keeping warm/keeping cool techniques

Warm clothes, a fireplace and maybe some cocoa

✎ - taste in music/literature

He doesn't like fiction books. Why reading about fabricated stories when he could be out living them? It doesn't makes much sense for him. However, non-fiction books are useful for him as many aspects for this world still confuses him

Haou actually enjoys rock. From Led Zeppelin, Pantera, Dio, Sepultura to Epica, Therion , Luca Turilli, Kamelot. Whenever he got the chance he finds himself listening to something. The duelist treasures the discs that hane-kuriboh gave him some time ago but wouldn't admit it

✪ - favourite food/eating habits

Much like his counterpart, Haou is found of fried shrimp and fermented soybeans. But he will likely eat anything as long it's editable

☁ - ideal holiday

As long he is hanging out with his wife, it would be a perfect holiday.

But dueling is fine too (just not dueling his wife)

☂ - sadness

Often his sadness manifests as anger and hatred. Last time he experienced excruciating despair was when he took over the Dark World. He doesn't know other way to deal with sadness but leashing out

❈ - ideal birthday

He experienced two 'birthdays' so far, and the last one was perfect: he hanged out with his wife. They cuddled and had sex as much as they could
