He looked up at him hopefully , there was literally no way Jason of all people would want a small pile of teeth and his was absolutely banking on that.

She pulls him to her and hugs him tightly, burying his face in her shoulder so there’s no chance of him seeing her face. She doesn’t have any words, no clever quip or jibe about how sentimental he can be, how above all that she is. Because she’s not — not when it’s Jason. She hates when he leaves — it’s like losing a limb, the life in her body. She’s a ghost until he comes back makes her see life again. She doesn’t like it. It’s a hot searing thing, she feels like a child just finding out what happens when you put your hand in a flame. She also never wants it to end. Never wants to go back to a world that doesn’t have his laugh, his smile, his vision, his music in it.

She wants it to be the last time. She wants to handcuff him to her for life.

She tries not to let him know she’s crying as she nods in agreement.

    god, how long had it been?? when andrew first saw him, they were not completely sure it WAS jason. no matter how much time had passed, the other always seemed SIMILAR, but never completely the same. but andrew always reminded themself that they had seen and been through much STRANGER situations. they can’t help but smile, and release a soft laugh as they do so. 

   “for a while, i was wonderin’ if i’d see y’ again.” his tone is light, even though the words are serious.
