Elise was raised with her younger sister, Elise, by a hardworking, loving father, Sunil. She doesn't remember her mom much, only that one day she'd been there, and the next she'd gone. It's a blank space in her memory she's never been able to fill, but their father made sure to fill their home with plenty of love and care despite it. As the oldest daughter, Elise took it upon herself to help at home, and with her sister. Despite being just over a year apart, she was helping how she could. Making sure she and Bunny got to school on time. Helping her sister with her homework. She knew that their dad had plenty of stresses in his life and encouraged herself to help too.

Growing up in the city meant that there were numerous opportunities to explore diverse interests. But the one that always caught Elise's heart was music. And rather than going to a fancy school for cello lessons, Elise did her research, pursuing a retired faculty member from Juilliard for lessons. At first, she'd refused, but Elise was more persistent and strong-willed than she seemed, determined to prove herself a worthy student. Eventually, Renee Finchley gave in, becoming her teacher from the time she was twelve. And when her dad and Bunny surprised her with a cello of her own for her sixteenth birthday, she knew she'd do anything to become the best at what she did. Eventually, she got into Juilliard and eventually joined the The New York Philharmonic.

About two years ago, their dad began dating someone seriously. Elise was more so happy for him considering his focus had always been on her and Bunny. Professionally, he'd worked in media and a series of promotions that left him as one of the head set designers for UBC which is how he met their now step-mother. The past eight months have been a transition since they got married, with new step siblings to contend with who don't seem particularly keen on having new sisters.

She's heard them mention money grabbing or gold diggers and it grates at her, mostly on her father's behalf. Because she just wants him to be happy. And her sister too. Though Bunny's making the most of her newfound connections, which Elise can't fault her for. Overall, things are settling a bit, but Elise has heard talk of The Syndicate within the new circles she's been introduced too, and she can't help but feel like their family has gotten involved with something much bigger than themselves.

The Sinclair name has seen plenty of impressive minds within the tech field, the family enterprise a renowned organization for producing cutting edge technology and working with The Syndicate for generations. Julien followed in his family's footsteps, like his older brother, but always with an eye towards success. His brilliance was a tool he could use to create, innovate and support progress. As such, he did things with purpose, and with an eye towards realistic applications.

When he met Marianne during a work rip to France, she was the clear choice for Julien, who, at the time, was feeling pressure from his parents to start a family, as his brother had already done. When they welcomed Seraphina into the world a few years after their relationship began, it seemed like marriage was the next step, at least according to their parents. However cutting edge the Sinclairs were in tech, it seems some of their values were quite traditional.

In the many years since, their marriage has taken many turns but they've stayed together for their daughter's sake. And when it comes to Seraphina, Julien has done his best to guide her down a path towards success and the respect their name demands. However, it seems that his daughter is determined to do what she wishes, and Marianne is only enabling her. His motivation is primarily that Seraphina walk through their world with confidence and the respect of others. He's not sure that modeling provides both things. It's something he and his wife have butt heads on. On top of that, issues with the Coalition arising have set him on edge as has his brother's recent diagnosis. He's keen to be there for his family but, as ever, Julien's gaze is set towards the continued success of their family company and the preservation of the Sinclair name.

Parker was born to Rodrick Bishop and Nadine Parker and was one of several heirs to the Bishop pharmaceutical company: GenCorp. He grew up with many siblings, most half, some full, some witches and wolves, but all part of their father's vision to create a security blanket for his family company.

From a young age, Parker was a clever boy, and rather convincing too, getting friends to do things they might not, sometimes siblings as well. With a blunt and sarcastic tongue, and a discerning and uncompromising nature, it was only a matter of time before he made himself useful. Growing up with so many brothers and sisters meant that he had to stand out in his own way with his dad, and he knew that he'd be one cog in the machine of their family's company.

It was a bit of an unconventional upbringing to be certain, between his home with his mother and at school with his siblings, but he never knew anything else. For Parker, it was as normal as things had ever been. And so was following in his father's footsteps. Pursing a degree in business at Columbia and a masters in Economics at Harvard, he came back to New York with purpose, determined to make a name for himself within GenCorp and their father's empire.

He rose up in rank as was the case with his siblings – nothing handed on a platter despite what people might think. Roderick was not one to put someone with no experience at the top. And so he's been working his way into various positions, becoming deputy head of North American Sales last year. On the coattails of a failed engagement around the same time, he threw himself into the role and, with his brother Alfie, has brought in some big deals for the company.

Recently, however, they've made a large deal with a corporate partner and its come to light that they may be associated with the Coalition. It's not a great look and so both brothers are working around the clock to remedy the situation before word gets out. Parker doesn't have proof that they're associated, but there are some rumors he'd like to put to rest before they can come back to bite him in the ass. After all, Bishops aren't supposed to make mistakes.

The Black wolves have an extensive history, traced far back into the beginnings of New York and of course, working closely with The Syndicate. For the Black wolves, their area of expertise was law enforcement. Or rather, corrupting it from the inside out. All of their corruption was based solely for "the greater good" but like many fires, things spread quickly. The Black wolves had their fingers in a lot of criminal pies, always with the promise of being able to make it disappear completely.

Like her sister, Evie followed in their family's footsteps, becoming a detective with the NYPD and eventually joining The Syndicate. She worked in a myriad of capacities before becoming a Watcher, finding that people often let their guard down around her outgoing personality. That she had a way of catching onto things she shouldn't have overheard, and piecing together bits of information to put together a bigger picture. She's bring energy to whatever she does, and a bit of impatience, but her record speaks for itself and it also adds to the arrogance all members of the Black family carry with them.

She respects Felicity, both as a colleague in the NYPD and as a leader in The Syndicate. She thinks the promotion is well earned and long overdue. With The Coalition growing stronger, she knows her sister will have her work cut out for her, so Evie is determined to do whatever she can to support Felicity and The Syndicate as they maintain control of the city.

Growing up a Morrison meant having a reputation from the day you were born. Alex was born two minutes after Ash and the Morrison twins helped pave the way for their younger siblings. Chaos followed in their wake, but so did easy laughter and mischief for days. They didn't have much, but they had their instincts, their eclectic skills, and a penchant for finding trouble.

His siblings all have a wide array of personalities and Alex considers all of them a product of growing up with each other. While he can be charming when he wants something, his impulsive nature can often times undo work that he's done trying to win someone over, as can his combative nature. But he's loyal to the few he deems worthy and is rather decisive when it comes making decisions and judging character. That decisiveness can come across as critical but he doesn't much mind. The people who know him, know the difference.

As far as his involvement with The Syndicate is concerned, he's recently been promoted to permanent driver. At first, he thought he'd hate having to do the same job, but he's taken to it quite well, finding enjoyment in the unpredictability it brings. After all, everyone knows that there's nothing worse than a bored Morrison.

Hellraiser. Like his cousins, Leo and his younger brothers, Logan and Luke, became known for stirring up trouble in Center Hill. As a child, Leo was as intent on leaving his mark as the rest of them. He was confident, barreling through doors and breaking rules like a hobby. To say he was aggressive is an understatement. Growing up with Andrew as a father wasn’t easy. Like his brothers Jeffrey and Steven, Andrew had firm ideas. Particularly when he came to the pack and how children should be raised. Their mother, Heather, never questioned it either. Either they fell in line, or they’d be made to. It was as simple as that. Fighting and training was a given, always a ruthless lesson in how to survive.

When their pack was attacked 12 years ago, Leo was reluctant to go to New York because it felt like they wouldn't be their own pack anymore. And it's partially true but with a family so big, they don't need to be a pack for people to know they've got each other's back. Soon, he even saw the city for what it was: a big fucking opportunity. He took advantage of it, rising in rank in The Syndicate to become an enforcer.

Around two years ago, Leo made the mistake of a one night stand with Hazel Jones. And it wouldn't have been a mistake if she hadn't gotten pregnant...and if he hadn't been with someone else. It's become a bit of a mess, which is the Cross way of things. It's also why he figured getting married to his girlfriend would smooth things over, even though marriage as a concept never meant much to the Cross. Things are on the rocks now in his relationship, but Leo's focus is his daughter. He's determined to be everything his father wasn't.

Mason never got a chance to know his mother, Emily, who died giving birth to him. All he knows is that he got her dark hair and hazel eyes and adventurous spirit. Even while her older sister dutifully took him in the first few years of life, he was still part of the Cross pack and when Ryan turned eighteen, he assumed responsibility for him. For most of his life  it was just Mason and his dad. Thankfully, being part of the Cross family meant it was never truly just him and his dad. He had his uncles and members of their pack who made growing up as part of the Cross pack bearable. 

Twelve years ago, the pack was attacked by another that joined forces with hunters, overpowering them and almost halving their numbers in the process. They lost was his grandma and Tyrs mom, and countless others, forcing the pack to reach out to a long standing ally they had with the Rose wolves. The surviving members moved to New York City, quickly getting to work within The Syndicate and establishing themselves as trusted members.

Moving from a place like Atlanta and Center Hill to New York was a huge change, but one that Mason didn't mind. He liked he steady pulse of the city, the way there was always something to do (and mischief to get into with his cousin). Despite being a transplant, spending his formative teen years in the city makes him a New Yorker through and through.

He's recently moved up from affiliate to a full-fledged new member of The Syndicate. He's not sure if it's his dream but it's easier to follow in his father and uncles and cousins footsteps. And he's never looked down on the work his family has done. After all, the Crosses adaptive nature and hard work it's why they're still here today.

ABOUT

Levi and his twin brother were born in Chicago to a nomadic werewolf mother who settled with the Marshall pack when she was pregnant. They grew up with the Marshalls until fifteen years ago, their pack was massacred by a large coven of vampires. He and Beau escaped but no one else did.

They ended up in New York and eventually fell in with The Syndicate in their own ways. For Levi, he'd been working as concierge at The Beekman, their top employee for months straight, with a warm smile and wit about him, it was easy to make people feel welcomed. But what started as limited involvement (answering some questions about guests – at gunpoint), became more of a watcher role and eventually he moved up in ranks.

The higher ups thought he was a good face for new affiliates to check in with. So while Levi wasn't the toughest enforcer around (and some people don't know how he got so high), it makes sense that he works with those not fully involved, easing them in or reassuring them.

In part, he stayed involved because his brother was involved as a Medic and he figured if he got higher in rank, he could help keep Beau safe. Even though they're twins, and separated by a few minutes, it's clear to Levi that he's the more capable, charming twin, and therefore, it's his responsibility to look out for his less capable, less charming twin.
