the petite, black haired boy turned to face the brunette who said those words. long, flowing hair, with her sharp jade eyes. it was only yesterday that they came across each other, walking opposite paths towards their schools.

what were the odds they would be standing on a building, running away from cops, being considered fugitives? criminals, even?

the sight was breathtaking, indeed. city lights illuminated in their neon colours, with the everlasting moonlight gracing on their faces. sounds of vehicles, children, performances blended into one, echoing melody. just like the girl, and the boy, their outstanding backdrop, and their erratic situation.

" yeah. i guess it is quite lovely. "

and now, that, was the start of their synthesis.
