Sorry it sounds a bit windy, I did this outside while I was on my way home today. If I sound a little breathless, that’s also why. Plus I wasn’t properly warmed up for singing, but I think I don’t sound too bad considering everything, haha!
Anyways, 2nd verse from “Elastic Heart” by Sia. I’ve been debating what I wanted to sing all week and this one just fit my mood today, so yeah. Thanks!

THIS IS THE GREAT TEMPTATION RIGHT HERE. I know you’re really into the games, so there’s a draw to pick them up again, because, hey! We could talk about them then! And tumblr, much as I love many aspects of it, has not been great for getting actual talking between people and I really miss that from LJ/DW days. Well. Lack of threaded conversation doesn’t help, but I feel like surely there must be some way to motivate us and a game(s) that we’ve all played/are playing often times seem like a good idea...?

while i guess i understand it not being everyone’s thing, ace attorney is probably my favorite games series. it’s funny and clever and there are some real heart-wrenching moments and tons of character interaction and development
I’m sure I’d like them if I had someone to hold my hand for awhile in the beginning! Where I have trouble is usually about the first 10 hours of any game (sometimes closer to 15), that period of time where I’m adjusting to how the game works, how the gameplay goes, trying to remember characters’ names, trying to get investment in them going, etc. If I can get past that, usually I’ll get a good ways into them. I know eventually I would get there, it’s the getting past the initial climb there that’s the hard part. ):

I think a lot of it just depends on your mood tbh. I love the series, but am at a stonewall right now because I just…don’t care? So like obvi don’t stress over disinterest or anything. They’re good games imho, but if it’s not your cup of tea, s'ok
I’m getting pretty close to finishing my current game (I think I’ll probably be at the end in three days or so? given my current pace anyway) and I’d like to have another game lined up after I get over the game hangover of this one/have trawled through the entire fandom for it. And it seems like the AA games would be good because a bunch of people actually talk about them? And I worry that if I don’t at least push myself a little, I’ll never get anything played. ):

you could watch them instead? MegamanNG has them on youtube and they’re great. He never says anything so it’s basically like you’re playing it without having to press any buttons.
Oh, man, I wish I liked video walkthroughs more! They’re awesome for when I get stuck in something I’m playing, but I definitely find that I’m one of those people who actually enjoys playing my games more than watching others. Plus, if I have them, it seems like a waste not to play them.... ): And I get a lot more investment out of them this way! If I’m running around as a character, I’m much more partial to them and will care about what happens to them, than if I’m just passively watching. ♥

Hello! Since you didn’t mention a ship, I’m assuming this is for the fic writer ask thing? #14: Your favorite side pairings to put in?
Umm, I guess that depends on what the main ship I’m writing is? Well, my main ships for KH are Zemyx, AkuRoku, SoRiku, and MarVex. I also really ship XemSai and XigXal, I just don’t write them as often. Looking at my list of AUs, 6 out of 8 of them have Zemyx as the main ship.
Usually what happens is you get this whole package deal in my writing, unless certain characters aren’t actually in the fic. So with my Coffeehouse fic, it was mainly Zemyx with some AkuRoku on the side (and mentions of SoRiku) and then people really liked the interactions between Marluxia and Vexen, so MarVex became the main ship for the sequel. For N(erd)LOSR, I was given a Zemyx prompt, but I doubled it up with MarVex (because daddy!Vexen crushing on GymTeacher!Marluxia is hilarious) and since I made Roxas Zexion’s best friend in that, I couldn’t help but throw in some AkuRoku on the side. My Space Pirates RP is mainly Zemyx, but since Axel and Roxas are part of the crew, of course I added AkuRoku.
I do ship a few other things, just not as often, like MarLarx, ZekuRoku, and AkuSai (in a pre-Roxas sense). There are a few more ships I’m open to, but I won’t really mention them. I’m working on a ZekuRoku prompt now, so to avoid AkuRoku I’ve had to make AkuSai the side ship.
Umm, so yeah. XD I guess that answers that question?
