Getting a little trinket for Aventurine...something he can keep in his pocket or even his wallet. It's nothing fancy or expensive. Maybe even a little silly. But he takes it with him everywhere. Tucked close to him in his jacket pocket, where he knows it'll be safe.

You forgot you even gave it to him until one day he gives you his coat to wear and you feel it: a constant poke against your ribcage, a constant poke against his heart. Like a way to remind himself that he has one, and that it belongs to someone who wants it.

My hsr self-insert has a skill that uses playing cards and is centered around a poker game called Texas hold em.

#like damn #idk it's just a different level of creativity #to create a life a story from scratch #like damn you really did that lol #it has crossed my mind to make a self-insert for hsr 👉🏻👈🏻#i have various ideas/lore for Synturine #like i really enjoy the partners in crime dynamic which was the vibe in my self-ship art with aventurine #but i also think i go back and forth sometimes between being his target from the IPC and being a coworker #WAIT #omg what if i work for the marketing dept #but i would like what i do to be less evil LOL #but it WOULD be suuuuuuuch a good dynamic and i could cross the two ideas i already have #the development and marketing depts are at odds with each so I very well could be his target for a mission to get information #or to disrupt the SMD's plans #but im also technically his coworker bc I work for the IPC too LOl #omg this could be like romeo and juliet #oh oh oh this is A DELICIOUS THOUGHTTTT #oh my god what if i work for the SMD but initially wanted to be in the SDD so i try to mitigate the dmg as much as possible #telling Aventurine “not all of us could be so lucky” i.e. not all of us were able to get in front of the right people 👁️👁️#and we have to make do with the cards we've been dealt....and i secretly have my own vendetta to settle against Oswaldo #but you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette.... something Aventurine knows all too well #we're working towards the same thing but neither of us knows that until way later #oh my god #wait IM COOKING HERE #Synturine #omfg #hsr si

Following up on my HSR self-insert thoughts what if I followed the path of destruction....what a CONTRAST to Aventurine's preservation....his shields are so strong and can protect from outside damage but are useless when it's you damaging yourself.

He'd have to just stand there and watch as I risk myself over and over, preparing to lose someone he cares for yet again. But we're one in the same you know? We're both risking ourselves constantly except for different reasons. He prefers to risk himself instead of others with the underlying desire to protect them (and bc he wants to die). I think I would be doing it bc idk any other way to be and I just don't care if I die.
