“Finally! Someone that looks dependable!”

He’d been wandering this Light-forsaken city for hours and he felt like he’d never find someone who looked like they were capable of something! But her? She looked like good people. And good people got the job done. He knew these things. “Don’t suppose you know any secret routes out of the city.” A brief pause. “Hidden caches full of guns or other such weapons?” Another pause. “...A paying job that isn’t making noodles or serving booze?”

“How about a giant white ball in the sky that gives everyone super powers and brings them back to life? That ring a bell at all or...none of this do anything for ya?”

“Pretty sure this is the way that lady told me to go...” He muttered, staring at a landmark. He didn’t remember it being there before though. Huh. “Hey.” He noticed a woman walking down the street,  one that looked like she wasn’t doing anything in particular. Or maybe she was. He didn’t know.  “I’m looking  for these “Twin Apartments”. Some lady  gave me directions but I think she didn’t know what she was talkin’ about. She told me to go that way and then I ended up here somehow.”

He’d just gone the opposite direction of where she’d told him. He was an idiot when it  came to directions or finding his way around.
