Everytime I try to order something from internet it goes "WHAT IS YOUR STATE" and I go "girl dont worry im from finland" and it goes "YEAH WHAT STATE FROM FINLAND" and I go "we dont have those" and it goes "ÄAAAAAAAAÄÄAÄAÄAÄQÄÄA" and I go "fine uh... my state is finland" and it goes "thank u was that so hard slut"

I talked about this with my friends but might as talk about it here too.

I both love and hate halloween.

I do love the vibes and I love that theres so much horror media coming out every halloween. Its all very cool and fun!

What I dont like is how it is kinda taking over in Finland. The older i get the more i notice that finland is doing a lot of usa stuff and thats fine thats how culture works sometimes, i just find it sad that we are losing cultural stuff that were things when i was a kid (so it has happened fast since im just 24)

Like in Finland we do this thing called virpominen during easter. We would get willow branches from forests and random bushes and decorate them with feathers and colorful paper ect (like this)

Kids would dress up like witches an go from door to door, sing a little song, give people a branch and get candy or some coins.

And i dont see kids doing that anymore but i do see kids trick or treating (might be just where i live maybe somewhere kids still do it) and honestly it does break my heart a little bit.

I dont mind adding stuff to finnish culture but stuff like this is just sad to me and I dont like how finland becomes more and more like usa.

This is just me btw not all finnish people feel like this and i think it is very valid to love halloween here too.

Sorry to talk about christmas but I randomly remembered something and had to talk about it
