I'm hanging out with my son tonight, one of the twins i had with Rowan and Visarden.
Irran and Aevaryn both aged quickly, due to Fae genetics and the time lapse between worlds. The twins are in their early 20s now.
But back then, Rowan Janiszewski, since they believed themself to be "the Unseelie Faerie King", held revels with all sorts of debauchery.
When the twins were only about physically 7-9, Rowan told me, "Oh we always have a sort of 0rgy around Mabon, you should let the twins join, it's part of their Fae culture. Age doesn't really matter to us."
Keep in mind, my twins were fully fleshed out alters at this point. Rowan said that I had children, therefore I started seeing them. They started existing. They were sentient beings.
I was startled but I think even then, I knew that refusing Rowan would bring consequences. But I still told them that I wasn't comfortable with that.
In retrospect, I should have shown more disgust, but I was fully brainwashed. I was living with them and theirs was the only name on the lease.
I at least stood firm with that and took the twins for that week, though my parenting skills with young ones leave a *lot* to be desired.
Rowan laughed at it and called it "my Victorian sensibilities."
But I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I'd agreed. And thankfully, Irran and Aevaryn moved in on my side of reality before things Really got bad.
Keep in mind, Rowan Janisewski raped me at knifepoint, raped Sparrow, masturbated on a massage client, drugged me, tried to kill a partner and themself, and is a system chaser that has inserted their own lore in so many inworlds. Even goading systems to switch the fronter if the current didn't want to fuck.
Don't let the years gone by let you forget what a fucking predator they are.
