#system naming

chaotic kitchen crew sounds fun, we like it. you can try that one out and see if it sticks for sure.

is there a specific constanant sound you would like for the alliteration? and do you would you be okay with any food name(like idk. the curry collective or fried rice friends for example) or just words like "kitchen" "food" and "snack"?

^u^ We'll try it for a while, it's pretty likely we'll switch if we find a cooler one though. For specific sounds, we like sharp consonants (like k or t), unique ones (like v or q), and 'plosives (like p or b). Letters that sound similar in pronunciation (like k, c, and sometimes q, or z and x) are also pretty fun. As for food specifics, we'd be okay with most foods/drinks that fit the above criteria, unless it's like bountiful broccoli brunch or smth, we all hate broccoli lol. Also just realized that the names we come up with tend to have 3 words, so that's kinda cool. -w- Generic words would be good as well. Also, we're not trying to pawn this off on yall at all, but talking us through the process is immensely helpful! It'd be pretty cool if we started a joint blog to help people find system names, proxies, or just names for their headmates if they don't yet have one. I don't think we've seen any blogs like that yet. - ☕

so advice. i would ask some of your mind people and see what a general consensus for a theme would be. themes would be like our cat theme, or maybe a name inspired by space. if you give me a theme, i can go look for some words for this first part

then it's the next part. most systems use "system", but there are other words to use.

collective, cluster, clutter, den, pack, team, group, family. you can look up terms for groups of animals to see if anything sticks.

maybe you could get creative too. want something water themed? S.S Gold, perhaps(because it sounds like the name of a boat)

you could also do a joke. nervous system for example, but there might be many who already use that.

and you could do something like the [noun/verb/whatever else]-ers.

So, we were going through Simply Plural and trying to update some of our stuff, and we realized that most of us use food/drink emojis as proxies (as yall can probably see in one of our recent posts). So maybe a food/drink/chef-related thing would work? And I kinda want it to have alliteration and be unique. Demo jokingly suggested 'Chaotic Kitchen Crew' which we have added to the beginning of a list of possible system names. We all also really like seafood for some reason. - ☕
