20. What do you wish you could have shared with your younger self about being trans? & 25. What do you wish cis people understood?

Sorry I’m replying to these so late! I was at work so I wanted somethin to look forward to when I got off LOL20. Younger self huh...probably something along the lines of you don’t have to change how you are to try and fit the mold other people expect you to be. I struggled a lot with my identity up until a few years ago and if anything lil me deserved to know that I wasn’t weird for being different and that I could be “me” and break those expectations and it’d be okay, that it’s not shameful to be authentic.25. Hmm that’s hard. If anything I guess it’d be that trans individuals don’t ALL experience every single thing associated with trans individuals (dysphoria, surgery, hormones ect). Basically that its not a checklist.

That’s such a tough one...I’ve got a lot of pieces I really like. My favorite artist is Egon Schiele and I love all of his portraits/forms they’re so visually interesting to look at and since I first saw them I haven’t been able to forget them they appeal to me emotionally. 

I also love Alphonse Mucha’s art because I’ve always been a sucker for art nouveau and his designs are just so aesthetically pleasing to me particularly the posters designed for Sarah Bernhardt.

It went alright. I got up early (new for me) and then I ended up working all day which kinda sucked. I got to talk to someone I really wanted to talk to though not for too long which is a bit of a bummer I’m still feeling very like..idk how to describe it but its sorta like a suffocating feeling that’s both good and bad so like

tldr; today went pretty decent I guess lol
