We have a WINNER!!!

I said it last week, and I’ll say it again right now...all of the Top 4 absolutely 100% deserved to be there and deserved to win! That being said, I did have a bit of a preference in the Top 2. Winner was up for grabs though, and I think it could have gone either way. 

Jaja and Gaby were my 2 favorites throughout the competition, and I am so happy that they ended up as the last women standing. Either way, it would have been a first -- First Tapper or First Female Hip Hop Dancer. 

In my opinion, Jaja started stronger / more memorable, but Gaby totally peaked at the right time. And having that incredible tap duet with Zack to close the show last week? Lbr, that sealed the deal. I am just so freaking proud of her and #teamtap and Travis. I know we’re going to see a LOT more from Gaby. 

I loved pretty much all the routines they chose to bring back tonight, AND I especially loved the Alex / Jim piece that Travis choreographed. Those two need their own reality show or something because WOW. Also Megz + Edson were even better tonight than the first time around. And so were Jaja + Alex. I could have watched another 3-5 routines, at least! I loved Lil’ Phoenix + Cyrus’ routine from the Dizzy Feet Gala. Season 20 anyone???

I pretty much bawled through the entire show tonight. From Cat talking about Travis’ Emmy win to the montages to the finalists talking about their favorite routines to the inspirational auditions, I was a complete wreck. This show means so much to so many people, and I love how much of a difference it truly makes in people’s lives. 

So, danceonfox if you’re reading this, PLEASE RENEW FOR SEASON 13!!! WE NEED THIS SHOW There’s nothing better on in the summers anyways, and we aren’t done yet! I’ll sign whatever petition or write whatever is needed, just give us more SYTYCD!

That’s a wrap on Season 12...I’m sure I’ll have more thoughts after trolling the interwebs tonight, but it’s been so much fun blogging with y’all for another season. Let’s hope they keep it going for us, right?
