 Mih > //has like, the best sleep he's had in sweeps;;; he wakes up late the next night, blinking slowly as he adjusts to consciousness, but doesn't move just yet...//

  Knetic > //keeps sleeping a bit, only waking when he gets too warm// mm....

 Luc > there's a component in that eye that's interfering with your brain's ability to create and store memories. its something i've run into before with some others... remove the eye, and your problem should be gone. some cases have reported a return of all the "lost" memories, which can be traumatic, but not all. //shrugs as he removes his gloves// i can refer you to a prosthetics specialist nearby, he does excellent work.

 Syv > //actually has some "free time," now that he's completed his training.... he shuffles around the town, occasionally tugging at the collar around his neck... aphroa had made it so tight it was hard to breathe every so often. the tugging distracted him enough to keep him from paying complete attention to where he was going...//

  Knetic > //chugging a bottle of rum as he goes, meaning he's not looking at where he was going//

 Syv > //tugs a little more at his collar, then sighs slightly.... he turns and then collides headfirst into knetic. he stumbles back, toppling to the ground without a sound;; it takes him a second to realize what happened, and when he does, he just.... stares up at knetic with wide, terrified eyes//

  Knetic > .....//feels a bump and looks down. the hell.// ...........

 Syv > //literally too scared to move;;; just staaaaaaring up at him//

 Syv > // f r o z e n in place;;; though he manages to sign an apology, quickly//

 Syv > //blinks, still panicked so his eyes are just. wide as saucers;;; he fingers the collar a bit nervously, then eventually nods..... better to agree, yeah?//

 Syv > //just . FREEZES UP, staring at him in absolute terror as he starts shakin' like a leaf in the wind;;; how on alternia would he ever go back to aphroa now? he'd get punished for sure.... oh no oh no oh no....//

 Syv > ....... //chews at his lip... then points at his own symbol, clearly a brown one, then points at the clearly tyrian one on the collar...... oh if only he had something to write with.....//

  Knetic > .....//nods once before he just. picks him up. and starts walking home.//

 Syv > //wheezes a little squeak of alarm, but just.... goes limp. he knows better than to try to escape;;; he  just hopes this highblood won't be worse than aphroa...//

  Knetic > //Takes him to the huge oil tanker, alligators and crocodiles sun bathing out by the waters edge greet knetic with low rumbles as he passes//

 Syv > //just watches the surrounding area as they move, worried now that he'd end up as reptile food at this rate... still, he just holds onto knetic silently and tries not to think too much about it... oh he missed his lusus..../

  Knetic > //brings him in and locks the door then sets him down// ....Hive.

 Syv > //blinks, looking around nervously, but doesn't move at all from the spot he's been put down on.... he nods a little, making the sign for hive before he remembers this guy doesn't know sign language;;;//

  Knetic > //rolls his eyes before he kneels down// You live here now.

 Syv > //blinks again, visibly surprised..... he then holds out his hand flat, then with his other hand, he mimics holding a pencil and mimes writing something while staring at knetic;;/

  Knetic > //watches. allowing himself time to think. He notices his return and quirks a brow// ..s' at it?

  Knetic > .....//walks around and picks up a few more things. some stuffed animals, several pillows, board games, video games, a few consoles and a tea set//

  Knetic > //Sits and waits for the right moment before he lunges and grabs the trolls head in his huge palm and drives his face into the floor//

 Syv > !!!!!! //immediately balls himself up, face buried in his knees, hands clamped over his ears;;//

  Knetic > //crushes his skull for safe measures then drags him by an arm over to where syvenn is//

 Syv > //still just balled up, too terrified to move//

 Syv > //s l o oooow ly moves his head a little to peer up at him.... though as soon as he spots the body his eyes go wide as can be;;//

 Syv > //every part of his head is screaming not to move, but the training translates that as an order. mechanically he pushes himself up and stiffly shuffles towards knetic, eyes never leaving the dead troll//

  Knetic > //Doesn't understand his hesitancy and just shuffles on, dragging the body behind him//

 Syv > //follows after him, trying to keep away from the body. will he end up like that eventually?? when he gets bigger??//

  Knetic > //drags it in and drops off the toys in the room he meant for syvenn to take and then drags the body somewhere secret, away from syvenn//

 Syv > //watches him for a moment, then just.... retreats to the room. he closes the door, then looks around..... sparsely decorated, but that's fine. he could find some moss to make the bed a little more comfortable... he pushes on it a bit to test the firmness.... yep. definitely need moss. for the time being, he picks up one of the plush toys and crawls up onto the bed to sit, just hugging it for now;;/

  Knetic > //eats his fill and throws the rest away, lobbing pieces at the reptiles outside his hive before he heads off to shower and then find syvenn//

 Syv > //yep... just on the bed...... though by then he's at least arranged the other plush toys in a little circle around him;;//

  Knetic > //blinks// .....//comes over to sit by him and just, offers him a plate of leftover troll meat;;//

 Syv > //s t a r e s at it. so gross but... he remembers the look of the smashed skull and takes the plate;;; then sets the one plush toy aside to free up his hand for eating.... the taste was gross. he'd never really been a big fan of meat, but it was food and he was pretty hungry......//

  Knetic > ......//paps his head awkwardly in acknowledgement//

 Syv > ;;;// barely manages to control the flinch and just... finishes eating the rest of the troll meat;;;//

  Knetic > ....//wonders if he has a drink for a kid...// ...Water?

 Syv > //nods;; then finds the phone again// "yes please"

  Knetic > //nods and goes to get him some//

 Syv > //once he's gone, he rubs at his eyes and sniffs a bit. god that was scary;;;//

  Knetic > //brings him back a glass of water//

 Syv > //sits up a bit more to take it, then quickly sips it away;;;// .... "thank you"

  Knetic > //nods and looks at the bed// ...Comfy?

 Syv > //blinks, considering just saying yes and leaving it at that.... but he'd notice the moss padding eventually;;// "mostly comfy."

 Syv > ....? //tilts his head in confusion... thinking he's meant to follow again, he slides off of the bed and moves on out after him//

  Knetic > //Sits in front of it and starts to look for new mattresses//

  Knetic > //shakes his head and pulls him up into his lap// ..Pick one.

 Syv > //aaaand he's in his lap. oh boy. he stares at the screen, blinking, then points to one that seems comfy enough;;//

  Knetic > //nods and orders it with a grunt, soon sliding him off and heading outside without another word//

 Syv > ?? //tilts his head, blinking.... he then follows him outside, thinking that's what he wanted;;//

  Knetic > //is just....picking up moss bits;;//

 Syv > ;;;; //shuffles on over and pats at him again// "that's not the right kind. i can show you?"

  Knetic > ....//nods and drops the ones he's found//

 Syv > //nods a bit and then heads off towards the forest... after a bit of searching he finds a good bunch of the moss, then points it out before he starts carefully gathering it//

  Knetic > //blinks and then joins him in gathering//

 Syv > //after a little bit more he gives a thumbs up to signal he's good, then starts heading back to the hive//

  Knetic > //nods and follows him//

 Syv > //heads on back to the room... he then clears off the bed, and then starts laying out the moss in little strips, then weaves other strips through them to form a sort of makeshift net//

  Knetic > //just....holding the moss for him to grab from and watches//

 Syv > //eventually finishes it and sighs, then looks back to knetic// "thank you. this will make it more comfortable."

  Knetic > //nods and awkwardly paps his head again before he heads out of the room//

  Knetic > .....//blinks back at him// ....Sleep time.

 Syv > //blinks, then nods and heads back into his room;; he then of course arranges all the stuffed animals to be around him and curls up to wait for sleep;;//

  Knetic > //just lays on the couch with a  drink and fiddles with an old picture he had in his pockets...the only solid proof he had of any past//

 Syv > .... //eventually manages to fall asleep... lightly, though. he's never been a deep sleeper;;//

 Syv > //ends up wakin' up havin' to use the bathroom;;;; he quiiiiiietly as possible sneaks on out of his room to find it.....//

  Knetic > //cracks an eye open and watches//

 Syv > //oblivious to being watched for now;;; he finally finds it and goes on in....... then comes back out a little bit later. rather than immediately go back to sleep, he decides since knetic is asleep - to his knowledge - he'll use the opportunity to look around a little more....... to start he just kinda.. tiptoes around, memorizing the layout of the hive//

  Knetic > //watches him carefully with one hooded eye but doesn't give off the impression that he's awake//

 Syv > //eventually relaxes enough to just walk quietly rather than tiptoe... he makes his way over to the kitchen to look around there. two plates. two cups. a single fork? he glances back over at knetic... he must be lonely;;//

  Knetic > //evens his breathing to simulate sleep//

 Syv > //wonders for a bit why he's on the couch..... then decides he should see if he has a bed too;;;; just quiiiiietly walks off to see if there's a second bedroom somewhere around here..../

  Knetic > //nope, you have his bedroom, syvenn//

 Syv > ................... //eventually comes to that conclusion and frowns a bit.... he then returns to "his" bedroom and pulls the blanket off of his bed... theeeen just comes back on out with it. he then very carefully puts it on knetic before returning to the bedroom to go back to sleep;;//

  Knetic > //doesn't move, just let's it like he's asleep and waits//

 Syv > //yeeep. he's alseep again, out for the rest of the day//

  Knetic > //early riser, already our and about to gather food//

 Syv > //stretches a little when he wakes up, then slides off of the bed to head out and look for knetic..... not seeing him, he looks around the rest of the hive, quietly, then decides to go outside to see if he's around...//

 Syv > //well. no knetic in sight. he goes back in and finds the little figurines, then decides to wander off to the forest to play for now;;;//

  Knetic > //comes back with a huge stag and looks around for the kid// .......hm. //goes about skinning//

 Syv > //eventually wanders back, much later, covered in dirt and mud but quite pleased;;//

  Knetic > //deer head on the floor, all bloody from the hunt, cooking deer//

 Syv > //just. freezes in the doorway. he stares at the deer head, then looks over to knetic, feeling sick suddenly... he then backs right back out of the hive;;//

 Syv > ;;;;;//sloooowly backs out of the hive again, not wanting to see the deer. it wasn't the same species as his late lusus, but it still brought back terrible memories...//

  Knetic > //shrugs a bit and goes back to his cooking//

 Syv > //just. stays out in the forest for a long while;;;.... eventually he returns, this time slowly peeking into the house to see if the deer head is still there....

  Knetic > //It's now being stripped by worms and maggots// .....

 Syv > ....... //stares at it for a bit, somehow that doesn't freak him out as much as the sight of knetic cooking.... he sighs quietly and heads on inside to put his toys back in the room. though he pauses to take his shoes off at the door so he doesn't track mud everywhere;;//

  Knetic > //puts out a plate on the table for himself and syvenn, portions far too big for a child but what does he know;;/:

 Syv > //comes back out and spots the plate... he blinks, then comes over to sit at the table. before eating he pokes a bit at the deer... well, he'd already engaged in some cannibalism can't really complain about eating something similar to his lusus. he carefully tears off a small bit to eat, then chews on that while lookin' over at knetic//

  Knetic > //just eating quitely. he even put out a little juice box for syvenn//

 Syv > //glances over at it, then smiles a small bit. he takes it and puts the straw in, then sips at it. mmn grape. aw yis.//

  Knetic > //drinking water with his, not used to cooked flesh but it's good nonetheless//

 Syv > //manages to eat a little more deer before he starts feeling entirely too full;;; but he's only managed to eat about a third of what's on the plate........//

  Knetic > ....Too much?

 Syv > //nods, sippin at the juice... he finds the phone, then taps out a little message// "i can't fit a lot. thank you though."

  Knetic > //nods and pulls the plate over to eat the rest//

 Syv > //finishes off his juice box, then yawns a little.... well, he should probably clean up... he slides off of the chair, then disposes of the empty juicebox before wandering over to the bathroom//

  Knetic > //watches him carefully before he checks the skull for progress//

 Syv > //starts up a bath, then strips down..... and realizes this is his only outfit. he sighs, then opts to rinse out his clothes first before getting in to wash himself off;;; rather than put the clothes back on again, he leaves them to dry on a hook in the bathroom and just. leaves. naked. back to "his" room for a while. the lightning scars still hurt after baths and he'd rather not move around until he's totally dry...//

  Knetic > //quirks a brow as he sees he's naked// .............//goes to his dresser and fishes out a shirt for syvenn to wear and extends it to him//

 Syv > //pauses and stares at it, then takes it slowly and pulls it on. he signs a little "thank you" before remembering knetic can't understand him;;; but... just ends up going to crawl onto his bed anyway for now//

  Knetic > //just grunts and goes back to his watching//

 Syv > //takes a nap, and wakes up a few hours later.... he slides off of the bed and goes to check his clothes. mostly dry by now but not enough to really put them on...//
