posthooks replied to your post “I’m not a fan of Taylor Swiffer anyway, but I feel like her recent…”
i do get the vibe she doesnt have anybody around her who critiques her for anything, so shes probably thinking movies right now hahaha
Yeah, for sure. Idk if it’s just me, but for someone who intentionally puts so much of her personal life into her music, none if it ever feels particularly raw or personal? Like none of it gives me a sense of the person Taylor. And I feel like if someone doesn’t advise her to move in that direction, this slick character she’s created is gonna get old fast.
Also god help us if we ever have to see her act. :(
I’m not a fan of Taylor Swiffer anyway, but I feel like her recent videos would at least be a bit more engaging if she knew how to emote more expressions than “unbearably smug” and “this is what ANGERY and TOUGH looks like, right???” Like... has she ever expressed anything resembling vulnerability on her human face? Not even vulnerable anger. Or even her own anger, just a facsimile of the emotion. It all feels very much like bad (one dimensional, childlike) acting, which is why I think she completely fails at having any kind of presence or sense of a character or fucking... personality in her videos.
