This fic. THIS FIC. This honestly must've been the 15th time (no exaggeration) that I've reread it. Honestly, it never gets old.
Blaine's internal struggle physically hurts to read. All he wants to do is love Kurt (when he eventually accepts it - spoilers!) but everyone expects so much from him that it's a long journey before he gets there. He's written so wonderfully that you want to bash him around the head half the time and wrap him up and protect him the other half.
Another thing that is done so well is the angst. I've probably lost litres of water crying over this fic - particularly the last third. Wow, angst central. Both boys are so silly. None of the angst feels forced - tears for the sake of drama, all the reasoning behind it works so well.
Some of my favourite moments in Klaine fanfiction ever come from this fic - especially my favourite nickname: 'Pretty boy'. It’s truly an iconic fic in the fandon for all the right reasons. It tells the story of self discovery, incorrect first impressions and relearning everything you know.
