Cats, dogs, fish, or birds?

{{ Oh man. Shaozu doesn't particularly like animals and they don't like him either. A wolfbat, however, would be an obvious exception. Gotta love your mascot-- from afar, of course. }}

What are some of Shaozu's favorite things? Like food or music or whatever

→ Food 

Shaozu has issues with being a picky eater-- though if it's spicy there's a much higher chance of him eating it and liking it. He usually resorts to eating very basic things, so it shouldn't be the biggest surprise that his favorite thing to eat is spicy noodles. The instant kind are actually his guilty pleasure. 

→ Drink

Weirdly enough, he just drinks a lot of water and tea sometimes. 

→ Music

He listens to whatever comes on the radio and isn't horribly picky. Of course, his preference leans slightly towards the swing that's a little more upbeat, but it's not that big of a deal.

→ Color

It shouldn't be too hard to guess that, being of the Fire Nation, he prefers their set color scheme of reds, golds, and blacks. If Shaozu had to pick just one, it would be gold. 

→ Clothing

Oh wow he's such an attention whore, so of course Shaozu loves to get dressed up. He actually prefers looking ritzy to being comfortable. There's no article of clothing he particularly favors, it's just the general style of clothing that's dressier he loves. 

→ Book

Ahahaha Shaozu doesn't read anything that's not vapid so he doesn't really have one. 

→ Hangouts

Of course he loves the speakeasies and swing clubs. Shaozu doesn't even have one in particular he likes to visit, he regularly drifts between Republic City's well known ones. He also spends a large amount of time at the probending gym practicing and working out. The thing about Shaozu is that he's such a huge extrovert and he hates being cooped up at home by himself so he tries to be out and about more often than not.

I think Shaozu is a ESFP on the myer-briggs test, would you agree? (Sorry, I was looking around for myself and thought that was fitting for him.)

{{ Oh gosh no, please don’t apologize!! I really appreciate getting asks like these. And honestly, I should be the one apologizing for sitting on this ask for so long. 

Nonetheless, to address your question, my answer is kinda.

See, I’ve been meaning to take the test for him, just never got around to it. And according to the one I used, you’re very close, but he’s an ESTP. However, looking closer at the results, his supposed preference for thinking over feeling is little to no preference, meaning it could really go either way. And honestly, I’d prefer to mix and match qualities of both types considering that personality type testing doesn’t concretely define a person— or a character, for this matter. Shaozu has qualities in him of both a spirited socialite and a straight-shooting risk taker, which makes it impossible to pick one from the other. 

So I’ll just say he fluctuates between both, which wouldn’t be wrong at all. }}
