hi booklr friends! I have a question, does anyone know of a good place/way to trade books? especially if you’re NOT a us, uk or australia dweller. (I’m from Portugal ^^)

you see, I was hoping to trade my hardcover copy of crooked kingdom for a hardcover copy of the original shadow and bone cover (book 1, I’m not talking about them renaming the trilogy lol). I don’t mind if it’s not new since I want to paint it, but I do want it to be the original edition, not the new cover/edition.

please reply, reblog with comment or send me an ask if you have any suggestions OR EVEN if YOU are someone who is interested in this trade.

my copy of CK is in practically new condition, I’ve read it once but treated it with the utmost care. it might be a bit dusty but that’s all my books as this area is quite dusty lol (here’s my original shoutout about this situation with a photo of the book)

Hello followers! Hope you’re all doing well!! <3

Here’s the thing, I’m currently working. Which means it’s harder for me to pop here and add content to the queue. In order to keep the blog somewhat active I’ll be doing a few changes:

The queue will run on 5 posts a day to prevent it from being too low

I won’t be updating the navigation page. From now on I’ll just reblog the posts with their tags and that’s it. I won’t be doing the “tag later” one anymore because it’s too time consuming and I honestly hate feeling like I’m falling behind on updating the navigation and/or adding new-ish books to the blog

If anyone wants to look up a book/series, just search for the title or series and then you’ll easily find the tag/posts ;)

I’ll be putting a “Semi-hiatus” status on the about bit of the blog.

The current read column bit will just have the book title and author, although it may not be up to date as often as I want.

I’ll still be here!! Still posting new photos when I can! But I thought it would only be fair to let you guys know of the current situation.

I’d like to publicly apologise for all the tag games I’ve been tagged in and haven’t gotten around to do yet 🙈🙈🙈

this is a sideblog and I don’t always see the notifications unless I go looking for them, when I do it’s usually a bunch of them and I save them in my drafts for when I’m bored/have more time.

best options to sell a signed book?

anyone here ever sold 2nd hand books online? signed ones?

I have one book I don’t think I’ll read (tho it’s really pretty but yeah) and I just noticed it’s signed. anyone know where I could sell it? I’m from Portugal btw, so normal replies like “give it to a library” or “2nd hand bookshops” won’t be helpful at all.

a little rant

god, lately I’m so disheartened with instagram. or maybe just bookstagram, who knows?

I keep doing my best to post at the EXACT time the statistics says my followers are more active, but the more I post, the more I try... well, basically the less interactions I get. less likes, less than zero comments, less followers.

and it’s so disappointing. I’m trying so hard, but it’s like it’s worth nothing.

Is anyone else feeling like their bookstagram experience has seen way better days?
