Tyrant || Self Para featuring Aiden Dunn [Mature]
April 12, 2016
"You're sure you got what it takes?"
"You told me you were rebellious once, Motta. Let's put your money where you mouth is."
All Sugar seemed to do was look from Aiden's electric charged eyes that seemed to be already completely glazed over as he stood in front of her, the pulse from the music overwhelming her senses, to the small tablets that she held in her palms. She couldn't even tell what colors they were, or even the size, but all she knew that something told her that it probably wasn't the best idea to even think about consuming the pills. The last time she'd taken anything like that she'd been out of her mind drunk and landed up in another country, but that too had been another lifetime ago. Aiden Dunn had proposed to not only become her talent agent, but offered to make all her dreams come true. Modeling, photobooks, fame, and the ultimate goal was to get her some sort of career in broadcasting again. All she wanted was to get back on track, find a career in something she loved, and let everything go. She wanted to be successful, happy, and..free. Just free.
The first time she'd met Aiden Dunn, it was a month before the wreck that killed Jay and her life had been flipped completely from beneath her. For him to come to her months after, believing in her and the work she had yet to do had to mean something. She had to prove herself and, even if this wasn't necessarily the way to do it, Sugar was feeling more than willing to step outside her comfort zone. There was nothing wrong with channeling her inner Jay Merit, at least for one night.
"Let it go, Sugar. Just let it go."
It seemed to happen in less than a second as Sugar parted her mouth and threw her head back, letting the pills fall dryly down her throat as she did her best not to show any sort of a gag reflex. Swallowing and bringing her head back forward to catch the wild grin of Aiden as he showed much pleasure, he reached out to a woman who had walked up to join them in the thumping club, grabbing whatever it was that she had in her hand and handed it to Sugar. It was a drink, or seemed to be as her sight began to fuzz, but nevertheless Sugar took the plastic to her mouth and drank all of whatever it was in the cup. The liquid didn't taste of anything, no matter the amount that she'd just consumed, and nothing in Sugar's mind even seemed to be concerned that it was normal. She'd dropped the cup, to where she didn't know, and brought her hand to her mouth to realize that she was smiling. She couldn't even feel her face smiling on its own.
"Good girl."
Sugar's eyes looked up to see Aiden's again, this time moving closer to her. Her hands reached out to press against his chest and she barely heard the chuckle she let loose from her mouth.
"You learn fast."
"You're a good teacher."
Sugar's nose touched against Aiden's now, so close now that she almost swore she could actually hear him breath over the pounding that the club mix music sounded in her ears. Her lips curled up seductively, in comparison to his, and as quickly as his body pressed up against hers, Sugar's lips found his. Playing over his as her arms curled around his shoulders, she closed her eyes and could see colors just spinning.
Spinning, spinning, spinning in the fastest of circles in her head.
The spinning didn't stop until the next afternoon when Sugar finally opened her eyes again.
The sunlight's beam pounded onto her eyes as soon as she opened them and she was quick to close them again. Shielding her face with the back of her hand, it wasn't until Sugar reached her opposing hand out for her pillow that she then realized she wasn't in her bed. Sitting up quickly, even more startled to find herself completely naked only to be covered by a bed-sheet, the only thing Sugar could hear was speaking faintly from a far off room. Confusion fluttered over Sugar as she frantically looked over the room, biting the side of her lip nervously as she did so. Spotting her clothes in various areas of the room, Sugar took no time in retrieving them and sliding them onto her body as promptly as possible. Purse tight to her side, Sugar was just making her way down the, what seemed to be a large condominium's hallway, when she recognized the voice in the living room more thoroughly. Turning the corner, it was then that Sugar realized where in fact she was.
Aiden Dunn, leaning against the kitchen counter, taking numerous notes and mumbling something on the phone line he was with, immediately put his finger up for Sugar to wait for him to get off the other end of his phone call. Stopping in her tracks, Sugar's lips pressed tightly against one another as she waited. She had a few questions, none that needed many answers since she pretty much pieced together what had happened the evening before between the two of them, but all of them wilted away as he brought the phone away from his ear.
"You're coming with me. You have an appointment with one of the best photographers in the Downtown area. He agreed to help us start your portfolio and I have a few magazines lined up who want to check you out. You in?"
Sugar's eyes, moments before full of exhaustion and curiosity, now lit up excitedly with every word that left his lips. Clasping her hands together happily, Sugar nodded her head eagerly as she fixed the heels on the shoes she was wearing.
"You don't have to ask me twice."
