“Operation Cake Day is in effect.” she said on her phone in a hushed tone as she watched her older sister jump into the yellow bug she called her car. “Okay I’ll keep her busy.” came the voice from the other line before she hung up.
Since Emma’s birthday had been rolling around Apple had teamed up with her nephew Henry to help Killian be spontaneously romantic for Henry’s mother, and her big sister. Still it was taking a while to help the pirate from the Enchanted Forest adjust to the modern life that came along with living in Storybooke. However, Apple was determined to help. That was just the Charming way. Once the bug was out of sight the little blonde rushed up the stairs and onto the porch before knocking on the door rather loudly to get the pirate’s attention.
As he answered the door she simply let herself in. “Oh good you’re still here. Hexcellent.” she said with a giggle as she shrugged off her bright red coat. “Ready to spend some bonding time with your future little sister in law and make your girlfriend the most wonderlandiful birthday cake ever?” she asked as she offered the pirate a charming little smile she was widely known for.
