while she was waiting on the daycare finishing up for the day, odette decided to pop into the bookstore to waste some time and see if she could find something new to read.

she slowly walked her way around the store, occasionally picking up a book to read the back or adding a new one to the growing pile in her basket.

having some time off had odette going for some well earned shopping time. there were no specific items she was aiming to buy but some window shopping wouldn't do any harm until she found something that caught her eye. stopping at frosty boys for a sugar rush, she waited in line for her turn.

child minding was a job that she felt was fulfilling, plus she got to spend her most of her days at parks, arcades and amusement parks. she was watching julian today, and she knew him well enough to know where he was going to make a beeline for. odette smiled at his excitement and waved a hello to jill when she saw her at the duck pond game "hi jill, how are you?" she greeted as she lifted little julian onto the stool to boost his height.

"okay julian, this is jill and she's the best. she's going to show you how to play the game and then you can try and win a prize, alright?"
