summary: you overhear Minhyeong stressing out by calling you clingy and annoying, he was planning to break up with you so you run away with attempt of being untraceable

It was a snowy evening when you carry a box of pizza for your pro-player friends and Minhyeong, you enter Oner's apartment just to tell them that you've got a pizza.
"I'm back guys" you're about to step further to the living room when you overhear him yapping about his doubts and changing his discussion about you as his girfriend.
"Man, I don't know if I can handle her anymore like that" Minhyeong ranting about how actually caring you are but him twisting words with the way you always attached to him.
"Don't you make everything stupid, beside that you cannot find somebody who always cares for you like her-" Oner taps Minhyeong on his shoulder by asking him not to do such being an asshole, but Minhyeong interrupted "Caring? shit, she's too annoying, I can't stand her fucking annoying behavior, I can do better than living in this kind of relationship with her" lashing out the word about his break up attempt that leave the T1 and HLE boys stunned with others' jaws dropped.
You silently put the pizza and tteokbokki on the counter in order not to get caught, and left the apartment without a proper goodbye from them, going back to your own apartment with your tears dropped in your face.
In a week later, you ask the General Manager for the 2 weeks off "annyeong Manager-nim, I would like to ask for permission for 2 weeks off, medidation I guess"
General Manager replied "Actually your in the right timing, they have some schedules for streaming, same schedule as your vacation leave, by the way, what's the matter though and why all of those puffy eyes I can see?" expressing with a concern look, knowing that how much he means to you as his little sister figure.
"Something personal that I could find a way to heal, but don't worry, 2 weeks is much shorter than I though" you didn't mention regarding how Minhyeong yapping about the relationship that was already broken because you don't want to brag it here.
"Don't worry about that, but also keep us updated about your vacation, always got you on everything considering emotional support" he gave you a high five before you left the scrim room "I'll be back I promise"
Overhearing him still haunted you that makes you want to wander around the city before you left to do a vacation in Busan, his calls and texts are no avail, concluding that he really wants to break up with you.
Meanwhile the other week later, the T1 and HLE boys went to Hadilao but with no trace of you, they worried about what would be the outcome if they found out about you overhearing his ranting, until the social media accounts popped up.
The team were informed about you taking a break to focus on personal recovery, with their instincts are in the right, showing the message to Minhyeong.
Sanghyeok pulled up his phone "oh, she's taking a break but… let me see… so she went on vacation last week"
"How long is her break, I kept texting and calling her but no avail?" Minhyeong asked.
"2 weeks, Manager-nim just texted" Minseok replied.
"yeah, but why she's taking a break though?"
"what you think Minhyeong?" Sanghyeok said with not-so-death stare look, with his teammates did the same.
It took a while for him on the process to realize on how it went wrong until he remember the night he was ranting about being uncomfortable of you being clingy.
"did I?" Minhyeong asked with stutter.
"hmmm" they nod in unison which led Minhyeong laid his back on the chair and rub his face with both hands "what the fuck did I just did?"
"what are you going to do Minhyeong-hyung?" Wooje crossed his arms, asking a question.
"I have to win her back" Minhyeong have a plan to bring you right back into his arms.
All of those days of calling and texts but you didn't answer any of them, you've been crying all night long during your stay in Busan, thinking of better days just to assure that he doesn't love you anymore despite finding ways of him to find you.
"(y/n)-ah!" Minhyeong screaming your name with saying sorry so many times, but the bus went faster that he couldn't make it, his tears falling down as he still calling your name and the words on how sorry he was but too late went the bus went on far.
It was a slight windy night while the snow was still falling, Minhyeong saw a familiar face in a distance, waiting for the bus but it was too late when a familiar person that he thought enter the bus to ride to the destination, running over just to be sure that it was you but the familiar face in the other row so the person will never see him, the engine starts running with him chasing the bus.
His fell on his knees and crying out loud, he really want you to come back, he was really stupid for the outcome when he wasn't aware that you've heard him enough.
But until, he felt those arms wrapping around him, with a chin on his shoulder and a soft voice telling him.
"you're chasing the wrong bus, idiot".
His head turned around and he saw you standing in front of him "(y/n)?"
"hi" your voice cracked as you waved at him.
He pulled you into a tight hug, wasn't able to let you go, you hugged him back and your face leaning on his chest "Minhyeong-ah"
He sobbed "(y/n), I'm sorry I was completely an asshole to you, I didn't mean to say that to you, so sorry"
"babe-" Minhyeong cut you off "no, I was, I've been a shithead to you"
"babe?" you said while your face is in his chest while hugging.
"what is it, jagiya?"
"I can't breathe" he pulled away quickly but the arms still wrapping around you, with your eyes met his "sorry, I was very worried about you, I've heard you're taking a break"
"it hurts, you know but I told them that I will return tomorrow" he knew that you were still hurting, assuring that he ever meant to say those words to you by kissing your forehead.
"where have you been these days?" Minhyeong asked.
"I went to Busan to visit places, Minseok told me to visit his hometown to try some food, he knows that I'm going to be untraceable" you explained, considering your trip to Busan as a therapy in order to be healed from the night he rant.
"To be honest, I'm thinking that you're going to break up with me-" he cut you off "no, I'm not, I was really stressed out, really, I've been experiencing of losing my confidence in the match, but it wasn't an excuse to say things about you" his voice cracked while those watery eyes being visible.
"I know but I was thinking of not coming back-" Minhyeong won't able to resist, cutting your words off with his lips pressing against yours passionately before pulling away "I'm truly sorry, just don't leave me okay?"
You nodded as his forehead leaning against yours.
"May I ask if you have a heart to forgive me and…" he pulled out the mini box and knelt down with one knee "you have to look at them"
"huh?" you turned around when the T1 and HLE boys are there, with Geonwoo, Sanghyeok and Moon Hyeonjun carrying the banner with a question.
Your tears starts falling down as you turn your eyes back on Minhyeong, with the mini red box and a ring on it.
"(y/n)-ah, jagiya, will you marry me?" Minhyeong asked a big question as he proposes to you.
"yes, I forgive you… and I can't wait to marry you" you answered as the boys cheered out loud when you answered him.
He put a ring on your finger and pulled you into a kiss again, "I love you, jagiya"
"I love you too, my fiancé" you chuckled.
You both pulled away from hugging and went to the boys who are cheering on your engagement.
"hold on, (y/n), are we gonna tell the coaches or what?" Wooje asked, nervously that what would be the reaction of coaches on both teams.
"I have an idea" you smiled with the reaction on what kind of idea would be.
In the next day, you're now back at work, prior telling to the staff, Minhyeong already handled the situation on their reaction on his team so you asked the T1 boys that you will tell them first so went to the scrims room.
"good morning coaches" you came in with a blooming look.
"oh, good morning (y/n), why the puffy eyes went gone so quickly?" Coach Mata was curious from getting cried over a rant then went on blooming mode.
"hmmm, let's just say that things are going well last night?" you smiled with a nervous look. Coach Kkoma noticed something sparkling on your finger "hold on, are you engaged?"
"yep" you giggled.
"with who?" GM Becker, Coaches Kkoma, Mata and Tom went off their chairs which the shock look on their faces.
Then Sanghyeok, Minseok, the Hyeonjuns and Soohwan are on the back just to know what really happened, with Minseok giggled, Hyeonjuns trying not to laugh, while Sanghyeok smiled at their reactions.
"one of them?" Tom asked but you shook your head with their question, turning your eyes on Sanghyeok just to tell them on her behalf "Minhyeong"
Becker and the coaching staff turned their eyes back on you until Kkoma went on Father figure mode just to go to the exit "yo! how did this happened-" it went on hilariously chaos when the boys, Becker, Mata and Tom trying to stop him, telling him those words.
"Coach-nim, she's all grown up" Oner grabbing his shoulder.
"Jeonggyun-hyung, stop acting like a Hulk!" Tom resisting him to prevent shoving.
"Minhyeonggieeee, you didn't tell me that she was your fiancé, you should tell us how long!!!" Kkoma hilariously shouted, trying to shove everyone but no luck.
"Jeonggyun-hyung, why you're acting like a father, they have been couple for 4 years, stop!" Mata blocked him from going to the room's exit.
"Jeonggyun, stop with those fishy shoving!" Becker was on the floor playfully holding Kkoma's feet.
You're standing there watching their playful chaos and laughing at them "these dudes"
You pulled up your phone to see the screenlock photo of you wearing your engagement ring and Minhyeong kissed your cheek, smiling.
