Hello everyone, I'd like to take today to definitively state that I am a trans woman.
I started the process of transitioning over 3 years ago now, and, for me, it's been the most meaningful choice I've ever made. My life has been defined by minimizing myself and denying myself care, and coming to terms with being trans was difficult, to feel like I'm making a purely selfish decision, but taking my life into my own hands, it's been liberating. The friends and community I've made mean the world to me, and I wouldn't give them up for anything.
