Within the "coffee kiosk" Ella whisks out up to 200 cups of coffee per hour - all at the standard of a human barista (who does 50-70 cups per hour) but with consistent quality. Rated to work for more than 30,000 hours without down time, that's equivalent to 3-years worth of maintenance-free 24/7 service. Ella does not fall sick, apply leave, or have bad days. Checking out Ella, the robot barista, developed by Crown Digital. CEO & Founder Keith Tan with the "coffee kiosk" within which Ella whisks out up to 200 cups of coffee per hour - all at the standard of a human barista (who does 50-70 cups per hour) but with consistent quality. Keith plans to seek S$25m Series A funding at pre-money S$200-300m valuation. The money will fund expansion of talent for the current 15-pax team, and deploy some 40 kiosks around Singapore in the next 18 months.
