Thinking about the Pulp ASOUE AU again, and I was curious what the dynamic between Rose & Anna specifically would be? :3 (They're simply my two favorite so I'm curious lol)

They become very good friends in the brief time they knew each other at Prufrock and bonded over Charles hatred also Anna canonically posed as Rose so they would foil the plot to get the Stratfords expelled

💋 Who says “I love you” first & how?

nori's the kinda guy to end every interaction with "i love you!!!" no matter who it is bc he's just so bursting with love <3 eventually naaji started saying it back and it slowly morphed from "standard farewell phrase" to "i mean it for real now" over the years

🎂 How do they celebrate each other’s birthdays?

ouhh,,, i feel like naaji would hate their birthday ngl. they haaate being the center of attention and they'd hate getting presents bc "well this is just what you Have to do today, it doesn't Mean anything" BUT nori might get away with it. they'd do something chill. maybe nori brings a fun little treat and they'd share it and chat in the garden :)

nori on the other hand has no qualms about being the center of attention on his birthday /silly, and naaji cares about him a lot and would want to do smth special. unfortunately they're still a little terrified of getting Too close and would paint dozens of portraits of nori but then ultimately be like "here's a sketch of a panda i did. it's not that good sorry [best pencil drawing ever done]" and nori would cherish it forever. and they would also share treats

💕 How did they both realize “oh wait, this is actually love”?

OUHHhh they're SO close to realizing it is...... they're so so close. unfortunately the narrative forbids this,

their love isn't entirely romantic or platonic it's some secret other thing. but they've been slowly discovering it between nori shifting from borderline obsession -> just wanting naaji to be happy even if it doesn't involve him (love enough to let go, etc) + naaji shifting from fear of any kind of connection -> realizing it's okay to want to be happy and be with people. they're growing up :')

💞 How do they act when one of them is sick?

well one of them barely avoided a deadly plague . so-

with caution, probably. they don't live together so they'd call each other a lot to check in + make sure they're resting/eating/etc. nori Might try to sneak over once and say hello in person (regardless of if he's the one sick) but naaji would be like NO NOPE get outta here !! go rest !!! at HOME !!! >:(

🧩 What tiny habit of the other do they find unbearably adorable?

when naaji gets flustered for any reason their antennae get all twisted together and their face goes all red and nori thinks it's absolutely hilarious lol

nori is just an enigma to naaji. everything he does is so Weird and Strange they NEED to study his behavior so badly <- said with barely contained platonic* lust /silly

joel's asleep first and lizzie is Watching him. with heart-eyes but also with Oh My Goodness He Is So SO Teeny Tiny eyes.....

i think the one hang up would be jimmy, on both accounts. they can't leave jimmy behind (again, in lizzie's case) so... as long as jimmy can come too they're all good lol

well joel is very Small and lizzie is very Tall so any way of being held works great for him ^^

for lizzie i think she'd like it if joel hugged her from behind around her neck ? like resting his head on hers and brushing her axolotl frills... depends on their exact height difference ig. but she likes being pet :]

in esmp i feel like he'd have some kind of daily ritual to try to. idk. petition the gods to bring his friends back? not quite a prayer, more of a "maybe if i repeat this mantra THIS time it'll work,"

i think... candles, maybe. not even scented necessarily, just the warm smell of wax. smth about an old angel friend living in a church and also a joke about icarus /silly

he's really good at video games (not minecraft -- like tetris or smth) but the problem is anytime he mentions this no one has any clue what he's talking about </3

🌸(What nickname do they have for each other that would mortify them if others heard?) Maddie and Hellie, those are nicknames reserved for each other, if anyone else wants to nickname them, it's Mad and Hel, but even then it's dicey

👀(Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?) Madeline "sleeps with Helen's boyfriends" Ashton, hands down. She is extremely obvious.
