(TRANS) 160125 ZICO’s Twitter Q&A Compilation
Personally, which song are you more attached to? ZICO: Both songs are songs that I rea~~~lly cherish!!! Between 'It Hurts' (T\N: The OST with Sojin) and 'It Was Love' which lyrics do you like more? Also, which one is the more emotional song? ZICO: Although it's a different line of emotion, 'It Hurts' has an emotional portrayal of a subtle approach 'It Was Love' has a lot of parts which have abstract expressions! How long did it take you to make the 2 songs!? ZICO:'It Was Love' took 8 months, 'You Are Me, I Am You' took 2 months For 'It Was Love', we had to document all the inspiration that we had piled and piled up, the real session that had to be received also took a long time. As for 'You Are Me, I Am You' I swiftly got hooked onto something and just put it together Fave line from a song? (The original tweet is gone so this is just a guess) ZICO: The love that I did alone now has to part by itself - 'It Was Love' 'You are me, I am you' has no featuring right? It's all Zico? ZICO: Yes I did all the singing by myself~! Were there any difficulties in terms of composition or recording~? ZICO: Except for the verse with 8 words of rap in 'You Are Me', all other parts were vocal so there were a lot of hardshipsㅜ What was the reason behind choosing Ballad as a genre? ZICO: It was a genre that best portrayed the emotions that I wished to draw! You've returned with 'It Was Love' and 'You Are Me, I Am You'. Which song amongst the 2 was more laborious????? ZICO: It's a double title! One is urban R&B One is Ballad In the song, 'It Was Love', do you have a part which you wish for others to listen more intently~? ZICO: If you could feel the escalated emotions after each composition while you're listening to it, then that would be great~! 'You Are Me, I Am You' is almost all ballad.. Can we have high expectations for vocals?8ㅁ8 ZICO: It isn't~~~~ a ballad~! It's an urban R&B with lay back beat as a base! Who are the ones who helped you the most with your challenge into vocals?? ZICO: Dean, PENOMECO, Crush 'It Was Love' and 'You Are Me, I Am You', are they based on true stories? ZICO: It has a proper balance of both direct and indirect experiences! Every time you have a song coming out, you say you get super nervous. Prior to the release of this album, are you still as nervous? ZICO: I'm going crazy~~~~;; Which lyrics do you like best from the song 'You Are Me, I Am You'? ZICO: You should love to your heart's content at the most beautiful age The bees who aren't sleeping and are working hard tweeting because you said you were going to do a Q&A, aren't they pretty?? ZICO: They're pretty♡ Just because you're preparing these songs, you're not making Block B's comeback carelessly, are you~?!! ZICO: These are precious products that have been taken out after 5 years of hard work.. Right now is the moment where we will be able to see the last stage of this project. I will make BLOCK B's album with the energy given to me by the public and our fans... please give me strength^^ Compared to the vocals during 'Movie's Over' and the vocals now, what do you think is the difference? ZICO: Since then, singing has improved a lotㅋㅋ You challenged vocals in this album, is there anything else you wish to challenge for the next album? ZICO: I want to play an instrument~! Were these songs completely very recently? If so then they would be unlisted in the solo album, right?ㅠㅡㅠ ZICO: They were already completed~! Which audience should definitely listen to 'It Was Love'? ZICO: To those who are living whilst thinking of someone, Confused as to whether it is love or not The song is such that listening to this song may make you think deeply about it
