she leans against his door frame as she watches him with careful, loving, eyes. “honey?” voice soft, not wanting to startle him, and she pushes herself forward into his room. “you need to eat something. we have at least five different kinds of casseroles downstairs on the counter and if you don’t want any of that i’m sure happy is back with those hamburgers.” she’s rambling a bit, unsure of what to say. she’s unsure of what to do which was odd for her. pepper potts-stark always knew what to do. but this was different. everything was different now.
