Coucou! Tu es en prépa si je ne me trompe pas alors je me demandais si tu avais quelques conseils à me donner pour préparer une khôlle. Je suis en terminale ES mais les profs ont introduits des khôlles cette année et je vais en passer une en géographie. Je stresse parceque je suis pas du tout à l'aise à l'orale et je ne sais pas comment bien organiser mon temps et plan (10min)

Alors déjà l’aisance à l’oral ça se travaille et ça s’acquière avec le temps. Je ne suis pas énormément à l’aise à l’oral mais j’ai beaucoup progressé depuis que je suis en prépa. Il s’agit d’essayer de montrer que tu as confiance en ce que tu dis (même si la plupart du temps ce n’est pas le cas), mets les mains sur la table, tiens toi droite et n’hésites pas quand tu parles  : montre leur que tu sais ce que tu dis.

Ensuite pour la gestion du temps, n’hésite pas à prendre du temps pour analyser le sujet, ce sera généralement apprécié afin de saisir tout ce qu’on te demande. N’oublie pas qu’au niveau de ton plan, le prof sera généralement moins exigeant qu’à l’écrit donc ce n’est pas grave s’il n’est pas parfait, essaye juste qu’il soit un minimum structuré. Après je n’ai pas de réelle organisation du temps … je fais ça au feeling vu que j’ai l’habitude maintenant mais tu verras déjà sur le coup après ton analyse de sujet s’il te reste du temps ou non et tu pourras alors adapter ce que tu écris et la vitesse à laquelle tu dois réfléchir haha.

N’écris surtout pas tout sur ta feuille, écris les idées principales pour t’en souvenir (le reste est bien au chaud dans ta mémoire), tu peux écrire ta première phrase histoire d’être plus à l’aise au début de ta kholle.

Rappelle toi que ce n’est qu’une khôlle au final. Il s’agit juste de tester tes connaissances et de t’entraîner à l’oral, ce n’est pas grave si dès la première fois tu ne fais pas une khôlle parfaite. Au contraire, la khôlle est d’autant plus intéressante quand tu apprends de tes erreurs !

I finally discovered how to use Evernote (i’ve had it for a long time but i wasn’t using it much) but it is such a revolution to the way i’m studying yay

Do you know any radio apps where I can listen to French music/ podcasts? It could be anything that could help me practice my auditory skills.

As for radio you can download the official apps of some French ones and listen to radio shows I guess, there are : Virgin radio or NRJ Radio … But I’m not sure the way they talk is very appropriate. Otherwise you can look for French Youtubers because I find them very talented and funny. I can recommend : Studio bagel - Cyprien - Normanfaitdesvideos - Hugotoutseul - le woop gang- Natoo - Golden Moustache - Le rire Jaune … And it’s only a bunch of them, they are mostly making podcasts or funny videos ! Otherwise you can find some beauty Youtubers I guess or some who are playing video games or talking about music or really anything else …. I think this is a good way to learn more of the language since you’ll learn some idiomatic things and the way youngsters speak, moreover it’s funny ~ If you want more recommendations of those you can always ask :3 I can also give you the link later and make a more categorized list tomorrow if you want (or if anyone else want really just ask)

Do you have any tips for learning French? Im going to Montreal & I'd really like to know a bit!

hey! I guess you can start by learning some basics things, I’m sure there are plenty of sites on internet or you can find some self-learning books ! Otherwise you can watch tv-shows, videos, listen to the radio, read … basically everything that is in French ! Sorry I don’t really have any tips :/ it’s hard to know those when it comes to your own language ><

Coucou! Je voudrais m'acheter quelques cahiers à spirales avec feuilles détachables mais l'année dernière j'ai eu une mauvaise expérience :/ les feuilles se détachaient toutes! Bon c'était de la marque auchan alors je voudrais investir dans une bonne marque genre Oxford ou Clairefontaine. Est-ce que tu as déjà testé ? Les feuilles tiennent bien ?

J’avoue que je ne suis pas fan du tout de ce genre de feuilles et je n’avais que testé cela une fois (mais j’aimais pas la couleur des feuilles, par contre elles tenaient bien) c’était les gros cahiers avec des intercalaires encore au fond, je ne me souviens plus de la marque ><

Mais je te conseille dans ce cas-là, d’acheter une marque, je connais des gens qui ont des cahiers comme ça et je n’ai jamais vu personne avoir de problèmes avec !

En espérant avoir pu t’aider quand même :P

hello :3 honestly I don’t know many sites like that, I never used those ! You can maybe try this site : to learn. But honestly the best way to found people who’re willing to exchange is through Tumblr to me, I met plenty of people who helped me with German and English. Like I have this friend (hey bonjourlegrandmonde), she helps me with English and I help with French ! Post your research with the tags ‘studyblr’ and ‘langblr’ and I think you’ll find people ! If you want I can reblog your post to help with your post :) Hope this helped you >.<

hi :) i'll be starting the German year 10 (which is form 5/grade 11/sophomore year) in 11 days and i'm so nervous. i've finally started preparing, but i don't get my books until the first day of school, so i can't calm myself by reading ahead, and i'm going to a new class as well, so i don't know anybody and i'll be the "new one" :c

hii~ enjoy your 11 days left of break, do not stress too much it’s not worth it I’m sure ! You’ll get to meet lots of new people, that’s great. I know being the new one isn’t easy at first, but as long as you’re open towards other people you’ll easily fit in! Try to organize or your school stuff and stationery, tidy up your room and sleep well so you’ll be ready to go back to school ~ Good luck with it ! And comeback to  tell me how your first day was :D
