Nokia 8.3 5G Dual-SIM & Singe-SIM variants pass FCC certification before official release

We have been reporting about Nokia 8.3 5G probable release dates in various markets via distributor and retailer listings. Now, both Dual-SIM (TA-1243) and Single-SIM (TA-1251) variants of the smartphone have appeared in FCC certification.

The FCC certification also reveals the wider 5G network support that Nokia 8.3 5G boasts of.

After us reporting about possible in-stock dates of Nokia 8.3 5G at distributors, HMD got most of those links removed. But we were able to find some new listings that have a common release date of August 31 for Nokia 8.3 5G.

While we won’t post these new links for obvious reasons, here is screenshot of such a listing.

Nokia 8.3 5G (TA-1243) & #Nokia 2.4 (TA-1270) appear in Russian certification now

Two new Nokia smartphones have just appeared in Russian certification. TA-1243 and TA-1270 have been added to the list of certified Nokia phones in the database.

While the variant TA-1270 had also passed FCC certification recently with 6.5-inch display and 4500 mAH battery, TA-1243 is an unknown variant. But we have now reasons to believe that TA-1243 is Nokia 8.3 5G and TA-1270 is the Nokia 2.4.
